Last week saw the elimination of quirky, bearded, occasionally hospitalized favorite Casey Abrams, and we were interested to hear what he would have to say in his exit interview. Unfortunately, he was pretty sedate the whole time (unlike the rarin'-to-go Stefano), but his closing statement stuck with us: "Don't take yourself too seriously. Take music seriously, but not yourself." While the interview was far from a laugh-fest, we couldn't help but chuckle at some of his laid-back, world-weary responses. Here are the funniest.
There was a really nice little shout-out you gave to Haley at the very end of your farewell song. Were you really saying goodbye to more than a duet partner? What's going on there?
Casey: No, I was just saying goodbye to my very special musical friend. That's all it was.
Who's the better kisser, J. Lo or Steven Tyler?
Casey: Steven Tyler. Well, J. Lo just let me kiss her, but Steven Tyler actually kissed me back, so it's a different story.
That night, Ryan Seacrest kept bringing people up, saying, "I'm not going to tell you if you're safe or not, go sit back down." What was going through your head through all of that?
Casey: Just a little bit of nervousness, but more like, "Let's just get this over with. Let me sing. Just call my name already." I just had this feeling that as soon as Jacob and Scotty were there, and Jacob went off, I was like "Oh, okay. Well, no one's going to do anything to Scotty, so I'll see you guys later."
What would the first post Idol album be for Casey Abrams? What would it look like?
Casey: It would definitely have a beard on it, and it'd probably have an upright bass on it. Are you talking about the album cover or, like, just music?
Growling became your signature on the show. It seemed like you scaled back on it early on, but then the last couple weeks, it seemed like it was back. Were you ignoring the judges' advice, or is that just how you sang?
Casey: No, it's kind of how I sing when I don't think about it, and I think that's a good place to be, when you don't think about how you sing. But I think maybe the Maroon 5 song needed it and maybe the "Hi-Di-Ho" song needed it, but I think maybe I gave it a little bit too much. But it's a gray area, so it's hard to define what's a good growl and what's a bad growl.
(This next one is just a funny question, but Casey is hilariously cool about it.)
First off, I have to say that I think you are incredibly cute, but have you ever thought that maybe you'd be cuter without the beard thing?
Casey: I thought about it, but I don't think it would work. I think the beard makes the face -- I feel like if I shave, I just don't have a chin anymore.
No, it'd be better, smoother.
Casey: I'll send you pictures of what it looks like. It's okay.
We never said they were a laugh-riot. See what our vloggers think about Casey Abrams' near-elimination, below.

One thing is always that one of the most typical incentives for applying your credit card is a cash-back and also rebate offer. Generally, you'll have access to 1-5% back with various buying. Depending on the card, you may get 1% in return on most buying, and 5% back again on expenses made using convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores plus 'member merchants'.
