Fox announced that House has finally gotten the renewal for an eighth season. Everyone seems to think that this will be the final season of the show, but I would rather not say since I have had my hopes crushed before.

Having taken care of House, Fox is still trying to figure out what to do with Bones since Emily Deschanel will be out for at least the first month or two of the next season. But as of now it looks like The Finder, which already had a backdoor pilot on the show, is now probably going to have a backdoor first season.

In one final bit of Fox renewal info, Family Guy got picked up for another season. Unfortunately, unlike House, no one seems to be acting like this will be its last season.

If you took all of TLC's shows and put boring people in them you might get something resembling WE tv's lineup of original programing next season. I guess if people will watch three hours straight of The Apprentice they'll watch anything.

It's almost summer and time to strengthen those voyeuristic muscles you let get weak over the winter. And now that we know that Big Brother is coming back this summer on July 7 you have a deadline.

Next season's "big guest star" on Dexter will be Colin Hanks. He will be playing some kind of ancient artifacts expert. This character and Hanks himself kind of make me expect that next season will go all supernatural, revealing that Dexter has actually been talking to the literal ghost of Harry this whole time.
