Gaga mentoring the American Idol kids... will this include meat dresses?
Glee's Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have rounded out the cast for their latest series, American Horror Story. Taissa Farmiga will play Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton's daughter and Evan Peters will play McDermott's therapy patient. The cast is shaping up to be top notch with other members including Jessica Lange and Denis O'Hare.
Gaga Oo La La. Per Ryan Seacrest's Twitter, it looks like Lady Gaga will mentor the remaining American Idol contestants in next week's episode. I hope she will teach them the fine art of playing piano while your piano is on fire...
We knew this was coming. After recent pilot screenings, Darren Star's Good Christian Bitches will likely be renamed in time for its premiere on ABC. The show may appear as a companion to Desperate Housewives as they are referring to it as "Desperate Housewives in Dallas." If this show ends up being as fantastically soapy as Star's track record, the women of Wysteria Lane better hope they don't get kicked out of the neighborhood.
Some bad news for the neighbors of Desperate Housewives. Brothers and Sisters has not officially been renewed for another season, so ABC is thinking up creative things to do with it. The network is budgeting to reduce the number of episodes in its final season in order to bring back this family drama. This would also mean less Calista Flockhart on the show (like she's on it at all now?). Do they have a fighting chance for another season, though? Co-stars like Rachel Griffiths are already joking about being unemployed. Not good signs.
Our moms' favorite cynic, Chelsea Handler, has much to be happy about. E! has renewed After Lately for a second season.
Apparently, Zach Stone is gonna be famous. MTV has greenlit its latest comedy from comedian Bo Burnham, Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous. This mockumentary centers on a kid out of high school who hires a camera crew to film his life's every move and make him famous. It looks like MTV's My Life as Liz has competition for Most Annoyingly Vapid Show Ever.
