Hell hath frozen over.
Angel's already written in depth about The CW's Upfront presentation today, but if you want to see clips from the new shows (including Sarah Michelle Gellar's), you can check them all out here.
Speaking of The CW, I honestly never thought this day would come, but the next season of One Tree Hill will be its last. What's next? Supernatural actually ending some day? That's some apocalypse stuff.
New witch-filled True Blood Season 4 trailer, with a healthy amount of Lafayette that I hope is indicative of the season. Isn't summer just the best?
Legendary NBC Sports executive Dick Ebersol quit the Peacock (always wanted to describe NBC that way) today, but don't worry (I guess?), NBC is still going to air the Olympics probably. Why miss another opportunity to lose hundreds of millions of dollars, right?
Oh, and Deena from Jersey Shore fell off a bridge yesterday. Those kids get to have all the fun.

Joanne,Thanks for the update on the nubmer of entries. 150 WOW! I am impressed with the nubmer of people who were able to pull a story together with such a short deadline. I wish everyone who entered good luck!!! A fan of the presents line for some time now, I must say that creating a heroine for the Modern Heat line was enjoyable. While the presents heroine has inner strength and conviction, it often does not fully rise to the surface until the end of the story. I love the independence and strength we see in the MH heroines right from the start Thanks again for offering us the chance to submit and for the time and effort the editorial staff will put into the judging. This contest has great fun to enter and a learning experience that will hopefully take us all one step closer to our dream of getting published.
Just a note to everyone who has made a coemnmt. Can I just say a heartfelt thank you? Where else can someone find such a positive, encouraging and fun group?Sometimes I wonder if I check this blog to see if I won, or if I just need to smile.Sincerely, good luck to all who entered the contest. Cash is nice, I do admit and I wouldn't be truthful if I didn't say my hopes are to be a successful author with only that income. However, where there are many who have become rich in their careers, there are only a few who can actually write about it.Writing is a rare gift, and you all touched my heart I thank you for that and along with it, I feel I've already won.Too mushy? Maybe, but it's sincere.Good luck again,Karen in California
