British actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw has been cast opposite Kiefer Sutherland as the female lead of Fox's drama pilot Touch. This is good! Normally I wouldn't be so forgiving of someone who was on Undercovers, but she was also on Doctor Who and has an awesome name, so okay.

Another bit of exciting casting news -- Julie Benz will guest-star on an episode of Royal Pains this August.

And Glee continues to put its filthy paws all over everything I have ever loved -- executive producer Ian Brennan now wants Bruce Springsteen to guest-star.
