The first wave of Teen Choice Award nominations were announced today, and The Vampire Diaries led the pack with nine noms. Good job, youth! Okay, so Glee tied with nine nominations as well, but we're choosing to ignore that small fact.

Looks like Marshall got a job! Martin Short has been cast in a recurring role as the head of Marshall's new company on How I Met Your Mother. Whether he's replacing Dave Foley as the boss of the company Marshall interviewed with in the Season 6 finale or is the boss of an entirely new company remains to be seen.

Teen Mom has inspired MTV UK to make Teen Dad, which will follow six teenage fathers. So basically, we take Shameless and The Office from them, they take Jersey Shore and Teen Mom from us. It just seems a bit unfair.
