Westeros comes to San Diego as fans line up to pledge their allegiance to Game of Thrones...

As expected, HBO's Game of Thrones panel proved to be the big TV-related draw at the first day of Comic-Con International, which runs through Sunday in sunny San Diego. Author George R.R. Martin moderated the discussion, fielding questions from the crowd and directing them towards the various cast and crew members assembled onstage, including Jason Momoa, Peter Dinklage and executive producer David Benoiff. The biggest news? If the series makes it to Season 3, it probably will not cover the entire third book. "It's too big to do in one season," Benoiff said. Smart negotiating tactic there, Dave. After all, HBO wouldn't dare deny the assembled hoards at Comic-Con a fourth season after that kind of claim, right?

Lem lives! The Shield's Kenny Johnson -- who played the Strike Team's most lovable member, Curts "Lem" Lemansky -- , signs up for duty on NBC's new police drama Prime Suspect. He'll be playing Mario Bello's new boyfriend, which means viewers shouldn't get too attached to the dude that appears in the pilot.

In a clever, conveniently timed bit of synergy, Playboy Club star Laura Benanti will grace the cover of the October issue of Playboy and appear nude inside. And since there are, like, 12 different women in the cast, ol' Hugh will have plenty more cover choices for all of 2012... provided the show lasts that long.

Darren Criss may be trading musical television for musical theater. The Glee actor, who recently was upped to series regular, is reportedly in talks to replace Daniel "Harry Potter" Radcliffe in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. As of now, it looks like Criss -- who was careful to get boss Ryan Murphy's blessing to pursue this opportunity -- is only eyeing a three-week stint in January 2012. But hey, if Season 3 of Glee turns out to be as unsatisfying as Season 2, at least he's got a possible exit strategy.

It's good to know that you can just drive your car into an ex-girlfriend's house and get away with it. Sources say that House productions vans were camped outside an L.A. prison, suggesting that the next season might begin with everyone's favorite Vicodin-addicted doctor behind bars for plowing his vehicle through Cuddy's home. Considering how terrible the show has been of late, we don't mind if they throw away the key.

Hail to the (storage) kings. The Season 2 premiere of A&E's Storage Wars is officially the highest rated program in the network's history, attracting some 5.1 million eyeballs. So when are we getting the Hoarders/Storage Wars crossover everyone so desperately craves?
