Ryan Murphy has tried to clear up what is happening with the trio he unceremoniously fired -- apparently he was going to give them a spin-off. Or something. It's very confusing and he does a lot of backtracking. It's almost unbelievable how poorly this whole thing has been handled.

And here comes the Walking Dead drama! Looks like it was not Frank Darabont's decision to give up showrunner duties (color us shocked) and he was "blindsided" by the shakeup. Yikes.

Some very strange news -- CSI: Miami is bringing back Alana De La Garza, even though her character was murdered in the show's Season Four finale. For a flashback, perhaps? Or to play a ghost? Comments with your guesses.

It's a good day for Game of Thrones fans! Richard Plepler, co-president of HBO, said of the show, "We told George [R.R. Martin] we'd go as long as he kept writing." And HBO boss Michael Lombardo added: "I promise you we won't stop it before it's ready to stop." As long as the show doesn't burn out, this is very exciting news. (HBO, we're putting our faith in you...)

MTV has a new show coming out centered around a group of friends in their young 20s grappling "with dating, romance and becoming adults" in New York City. It's called I Just Want My Pants Back, and get this -- they are currently scouting "hipster extras" in Brookyln. You know, just when I thought MTV could not try any harder...

And some more casting bits -- Julie Benz has been downgraded to a recurring role on A Gifted Man... Eddie Izzard is set to guest star on The Good Wife... Craig Kilborn will play a villain on Chuck... Patricia Clarkson is playing Tammy 1 on Parks and Recreation... CSI: NY has cast Jaime Ray Newman as Claire Taylor, Mac's deceased wife, and Aly Michalka is also set to guest-star on the show... and Martin Starr is guesting on Community.
