It's TV's biggest day!
Ryan Murphy told The Hollywood Reporter last night that Season Three of Glee will be Rachel (Lea Michele), Finn (Cory Monteith) and Kurt's (Chris Colfer) last. Chris Colfer has spoken out about the decision, saying "It's definitely not my choice, but I absolutely respect it." Since he's the one person most likely to have a career after Glee out of the three leaving -- he's not boring (Cory) and no one hates him (Lea) -- I'm going to go ahead and say he shouldn't be too worried. Plus, he's currently starring in and producing a movie he wrote, and he's also working on a children's book. I suddenly feel like an underachiever. (More than I usually do.)
Kal Penn has booked a recurring role on the upcoming season of How I Met Your Mother. Guess that whole White House thing didn't exactly work out...
Sara Bareilles is the new Sing-Off judge, which is great news -- the worst thing about that show was Nicole Scherzinger, and now that she's The X Factor's problem, Sara and Ben Folds and Shawn Stockman can finally give the show a solid judging panel.
Jenna Fischer's pregnancy will be written into The Office. And she and Jim remain the most boring characters on the show.
Penny Johnson Jerald has joined Castle as a series regular. She'll be playing an NYPD captain -- Roy Montgomery's replacement -- but she'll always be Sherry Palmer to me. (Awww.)
Big Brother producer Allison Grodner is saying that Dick Donato will not return to the show this season. Which I can't imagine anyone but Dick is upset about.
