The Chord Overstreet saga continues.

A Glee insider has clarified the situation. Apparently Overstreet was not fired -- he was invited to continue on the show as a recurring player (which he was last season). Here's the statement: "His option to be a series regular was just not picked up at this time. If Chord wants to appear on Glee, the choice is his. The Glee writers like his Sam character, and have plans to write for him. He and his reps have been told that he is welcome back to Glee, and everyone hopes he will show up on August 10 when filming begins." Weeell, Overstreet's tweet after the initial decision was announced certainly sounded like he's not planning on showing up. And honestly, I wouldn't hold it against him if he didn't go back, because this whole thing has become so awkward.

Looks like All My Children and One Life to Live are heading to the interwebs! I predict some of us will be teaching our grandmothers how to use Firefox very soon.

Rob Lowe is returning to Californication as Eddie Nero, but with "a new look...freaky as usual." Oh God. I don't know how to deal with Rob Lowe when he's not the most handsome person in the world. It isn't natural.

Producers of Kitchen Nightmare and Celebrity Fit Club are developing a reality show about overweight food-industry workers -- namely chefs -- trying to lose weight. Mario Batali, it is time.

A source tells Us Weekly that Emily Maynard is poised to be the next Bachelorette --"She hasn't officially signed on yet, but it looks like a done deal." Brad Womack is rocking back and forth and crying in a corner somewhere right now.

Nicole Richie and designer John Varvatos will serve as celebrity mentors on NBC's new reality competition series Fashion Star -- joining previously announced mentor Jessica Simpson. Can someone please explain to me why Jessica Simpson and Nicole Richie are still considered celebrities? The last time either of them did anything noteworthy (if you can call reality TV noteworthy) was 2003.

Hah! Besides skyping my cousin and "doing the email" that is EXACTLY what my grandmother uses her laptop for-to watch all her soaps!

I honestly think Emily would be a worse Bachelorette than Ashley has been! How many more times can we hear the dead-fiance story!?

maybe Bentley can come back and try this time!

we still need a Bachelor before the next Bachelorette anyway, hopefully the producers will realize she is boring before the decision has to be made.

When you go to a party at somebody's house don't automatically assume that the drinks are free. Ask and ask often.

One thing I would like to say is that before getting more pc memory, consider the machine into which it can be installed. In the event the machine is actually running Windows XP, for instance, the actual memory threshold is 3.25GB. Applying in excess of this would simply constitute any waste. Make sure one’s motherboard can handle this upgrade volume, as well. Interesting blog post.
