Ted Danson is the new Morpheus.

The veteran actor has joined the cast of CSI, filling the void Laurence Fishburne left when he parted ways with the show earlier this summer. Good news for those of you who have not yet seen Danson on Bored to Death and are still able to take him seriously. I have seen him on Bored to Death, and therefore can never take him seriously again. (In a really, really good way. He is brilliant.)

Some exciting Emmy scoop -- here are the titles of the six episodes entered by some of the top contenders in this year's races for Best Drama and Comedy Series. Props to the people at Community for submitting "Paradigms of Human Memory." Such a great episode. See if your favorites made the cut...

Even though Harry's Law isn't exactly stellar, we're always happy when Mark Valley gets work. He has just been cast on the show as a series regular; Broadway star Karen Olivo has also been cast as a new hire for the law office, and Jean Smart has booked a multiple-episode arc.

ZOMG, it's Simon Camden! 7th Heaven star David Gallagher has joined The Vampire Diaries for the first two episodes of the season as werewolf Ray Sutton.

Lauren German has joined the cast of Hawaii Five-0 for its upcoming second season. And Alex O'Loughlin fans, rejoice -- she is playing his potential "new love interest."

Charlaine Harris is done writing the Sookie Stackhouse novels -- the books that inspired True Blood will end on number 13. This doesn't mean too much for True Blood, as it barely follows any of the storylines from the books, but it's a sad day for original fans of our dear Sooks.

The bad news just keeps on coming for soap stars. It's looking like many of the All My Children and One Life To Live actors won't make the transition to the web -- unless they agree to big salary cuts.

Chris Harrison says it is "way too soon" to start speculating about Emily Maynard being the next Bachelorette. Leave us alone, Chris Harrison! You know we're going to speculate as early as we want. We are the Internet. It's what we do.

It's Tubey Time! Make sure that your favorite shows, actors, reality stars and characters get the recognition they deserve by voting in our annual Tubey awards. It's where fans have total control over what rates as the best and worst of the past year in a variety of categories. Vote now!
