This year's Video Music Awards are getting Gaga-fied.

Blockbuster recording artist and a perennial source of Glee cover songs Lady Gaga will be kicking off this year's Video Music Awards as the opening performer on the August 28th telecast. The singer/walking mannequin will likely also take the stage later to accept at least one of the four statues she's been nominated for. Other reported performers include Adele, Chris Brown and Bruno Mars. Can we also hold out hope for a Justin Bieber/Selena Gomez duet a la Jay-Z and Beyoncé?

America voted and Betty White is officially the next American Idol! Actually, she's just the most popular and trusted celebrity according to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll. The least popular and trusted? Paris Hilton, followed by Charlie Sheen. (Although based on their behavior for the past year, Sheen seems considerably less trustworthy than Ms. Paris.) Coming in second to White in the popularity contest was Denzel Washington, while Sandra Bullock, Clint Eastwood and Tom Hanks rounded out the top five.

After it airs its final episode on the terrestrial airwaves on September 23, the long-running daytime soap All My Children will move onto the Web starting next year. In a bid to get the fanbase to follow along and log on, producers are wooing the show's most biggest star, Susan Lucci, to make the TV-to-computer leap. The actress is currently mulling the offer over and, no doubt, doing some serious Googling.

LA Ink star Kat Von D was apparently so distraught over TLC's recent decision to cancel her show, she's been driven back into the arms of former fiancé Jesse James. "That girl is my chance," James remarked to the press. "I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her." Aww. For the sake of the Jesse James-as-a-child tattoo Kat's sporting under her armpit, let's hope these crazy kids work things out.

How about some casting updates to close out the week? Following the announcement that Stephen Collins and Dee Wallace would be playing Andy Bernard's father and mother on the new season of The Office, Josh Groban has been tapped to play his brother. Over on The Good Wife, Parker Posey will play Alan Cumming's ex-wife for at least one episode, set to air in October. Stephen Root will guest star on Raising Hope as the father of Sabrina, Jimmy's dream girl. And, saving the best for last, Bryan Cranston will be heard as a voice on The Simpsons in a 2012 episode, playing an imaginary superspy that Homer conjures up after bonking his noggin. Between Breaking Bad and all the movie roles he's scoring lately, when does this guy find time to sleep?

It's Tubey Time! Make sure that your favorite shows, actors, reality stars and characters get the recognition they deserve by voting in our annual Tubey awards. It's where fans have total control over what rates as the best and worst of the past year in a variety of categories. Vote now!

I don't care what people and judgemental press can say i like Charlie Sheen and don't freaking care about his personal life, i just want him to be a happy camper with his children and to watch his new show. Actors, singers, artists are not some models, they just have to interest and entertain us with their talent, that being said i enjoy Betty White as an actress, don't care if she smokes weed in her personal time (well this idea is funny actually for me..haha)
So these popularity or trustworthy for celeb are uber ridiculous and pitiful imo.

As for All My Children..i know that older people use internet but still majority of soap opera audience are older ladies..so are they sure that audience target will google their guilty pleasure ? I don't judge guys it is just a question.

Otherwise i love Bryan Cranston i already knew that the guy was special when i watched Malcom in the middle so i am happy that he does so well nowadays..Breaking Bad for the wins, Go Brian !!

Glad that Bruno Mars joins the list of performers for the night. He's one of the most talented singers nowadays as well as a sleek performer. If you are a fan, you have to watch the VMAs on August 28 and cheer for Bruno Mars!Don't miss his performance!

He looks so beautiful, I used to dislike his earlier music, but I totally dig it after his last album + his last music clip was awesome. He has got the coolest voice amongst all singers IMHO.
