What do Liz Lemon and Gabby Solis have in common? (Hint: It's money. A lot of money.)

Tina Fey and Eva Longoria are the highest paid actresses in television, according to Forbes, with each woman earning $13 million in the past year. Fey served as head writer and executive producer for 30 Rock in addition to playing Liz Lemon and writing the bestseller Bossypants, while Longoria had endorsement deals with L'Oreal and LG. Maybe being a housewife pays better than we thought -- Longoria's fellow castmates Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher and Felicity Huffman all made the top ten, too. No wonder they agreed to stay on their trainwreck of a show for so long.

New Girl is so adorakable that Fox couldn't resist picking up the Zooey Deschanel-led show for a full season. Hopefully for the remaining 22 episodes they'll give it a better tagline than "Adorkable."

Starz has renewed Boss, a drama about a mayor of Chicago (Kelsey Grammer), for a second season before the first season has even premiered. We are so, so happy ABC didn't do the same with Hank.

Lisa Lampanelli will be guest starring on Whitney, where she will -- let me guess -- talk about being fat and having nasty sex.

Tony Award-winner, Gilmore Girl-lookalike Sutton Foster was cast as the lead role in Amy Sherman-Palladino's Bunheads, and now we're just waiting to hear when Melissa McCarthy will join the cast.

Nelson Mandela's family announced that three of his grandchildren will be starring in their own reality show, which will air in 2012 and be produced by a Dr. 90210 producer, but emphasized "We're definitely not the African Kardashians." I'll believe that after I get my statement from my Mandela credit card.

A white powder was found at CBS studios addressed to the ABC show Dancing With the Stars. Someone must have been so offended by seeing Nancy Grace's boobs that they couldn't even get the address correct.

Lisa Lampinelli? Wow. Another reason to avoid Whitney like the plague...

Now that the New Girl has been picked up, maybe I'll watch it. I'm wary of liking pilots and then getting cut off.

BTW - you mean "waiting to hear" not "here."

ED:Where have you been. It's well known that the NJEA's lack of support hurt the atailcppion, That is not news. The news this week was that even without the NJEA's support, the state would have qualified if it submitted the proper atailcppion The state screwed up pure and simple, Now, did the governor personally screw up? Of course not, But someone in the education department did. Why does Bret still have a job?

Amen!Plus, if you know you're going to use the purse even better. I'm a big fan of minor frixes. Due to my budget, I don't spend on the big stuff at all which is why I rationalize daily stops at the coffee shop.Others may argue that if I gave up my coffee shop stops I could afford the big stuff but whatever gets you through the day..Either way, it beats the copays of therapy!
