It's one and done for Anna Kournikova.
After just one season, Anna Kournikova announced she will not return to The Biggest Loser for season 13. Rumor is the unsympathetic Kournikova was "a nightmare" on the show. Isn't tough love what these contestants need, though?
Brit thesp Paul Bettany is slated to star in Showtime's Masters of Sex, an adaption of the book Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the Couple Who Taught America How to Love. The show focuses on the '60s human sexuality pioneers Masters (played by Bettany) and Virginia Johnson. Seeing as how he's married to Jennifer Connelly in real life, Bettany's definitely got it.
Kelsey Grammer will return to 30 Rock as himself, involved in another one of Jenna and Kenneth's scams. This time, his scam involves pulling Pete's (Scott Adsit) pants off. While he's at it, can he use his scamming ways to get us a free ice cream cake?
Ashley Greene is trading in the sparkles and fangs for the 1960s. Greene will appear in a three-episode arc on Pan Am as a debutante with a connection to Ted, beginning December 4... which was announced just in time for Breaking Dawn's release this Friday. Good one, guys.
Basically the whole world is guest starring on TBS's upcoming comedy The Wedding Band, which stars Brian Austin Green and Harold Perrineau. Bridesmaids's Wendi McLendon-Covey, Molly Sims, Scrubs's Donald Faison, HIMYM's Ashley Williams, and That '70s Show's Kurtwood Smith are all slated to appear on the series. Does the show even have room for them all?
Dawson's going to be a single dad, and Sally Draper is his daughter... kind of. Mad Men's Kiernan Shipka will guest star on the upcoming Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23 as herself, a co-star in a movie James Van Der Beek's character signs on to where he will play her single dad. Good luck dealing with Sally, Dawson.
AMC is venturing into sci-fi territory. The network bought Thunderstruck, a UFO drama about powerful entities that appear all over the world. The show focuses on Great Falls, Montana, where the locals struggle with the effects of the repeated visitations. Where's J.J. Abrams when you need him?
The Beavis and Butt-Head of today is... a group of teenage girls? MTV picked up Worst Friends Forever, an animated series about a group of high school girls on the outskirts of popularity, from Beavis and Butt-Head exec producers Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky. Something tells me these girls aren't going to be anything like the ones we normally see on MTV. (I'm looking at you, Snooki and Teen Mom.)
Were you wondering how Parks and Rec managed to pull off a Model UN episode only weeks after Community aired one? Turns out Parks exec producer Mike Schur contacted Community's executive producers and got a script to make sure none of the jokes overlapped. Nice to see those NBC comedies working together.
