Looks like the Ponds are really leaving this time.

Last night's Doctor Who Christmas special revealed Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill will leave the show after the next series. The Ponds will be written out of the show in a "heartbreaking" storyline, but after they've "died" so many times, is this really a surprise?

ABC canceled Extreme Makeover: Home Edition... sort of. The show's nine-season run will end January 13 with its 200th episode, where the team builds seven homes in seven days for tornado victims in Joplin, MO. ABC isn't a total Grinch, though: the network plans to keep Extreme Makeover on as specials instead.

The Party Down Catering gang will be getting back together this summer to begin shooting the Party Down movie, granted everyone's schedules work together. I won't be having fun yet until this is 100 percent official, though.

Elton is totally going to get Cher... on Suburgatory, that is. Alicia Silverstone will join Suburgatory for a multi-episode arc as George's love interest. Hopefully she can refrain from giving him a makeover.

VH1 announced the couples for VH1's Couples Therapy. The show, which focuses on "buzzed-about couples" who will undergo 21 days of intensive relationship therapy, features DMX and Tashera Simmons, Linda Hogan and Charlie Hill, Chris Nirschel (The Next Food Network Star) and Angelina Pivarnick (Jersey Shore), Kasey Kahl (Bachelorette) and Vienna Girardi (The Bachelor) (NO!!!), and Reichen Lehmkuhl and Rodiney Santiago (The A-List: New York). Who wants to put bets on which couple will break up (again) first?

Fox bought a single dad comedy executive produced by Chelsea Handler and starring Josh Wolf, one of Handler's regular panelists on Chelsea Lately. The comedy is based on Wolf's early years as a single father of three and a stand-up comic. At least he's pretty funny, compared to some of Chelsea Lately's other panelists who have shows (coughWhitneycough).

CBS TV Distribution picked up Hot in Cleveland for syndication, which means Betty White will never, ever leave our TV screens.

Just in time for Ludachristmas, a five-minute sneak peek of 30 Rock released. Hopefully the new season will keep us Lizzing, unlike the last.

There's only one way to et me - or anyone else wih a brain - to watch "Couples Therapy" - rename it "Z List Fame Whore Therapy". Sorry - but being on The Bachelor and te Bachelorette - or being a serial reality show scum - does not put you on any list higher than Z
