Man Up! just wasn't tough enough for ABC.

ABC pulled Man Up! from its fall schedule, effective next Tuesday. In its place will be reruns of Last Man Standing, which recently got a full-season pickup. Between this and How to Be a Gentlemen, maybe networks will finally learn that men don't need to be told how to act.

ABC has some better news for Castle fans: The network ordered an extra episode, bringing the total this season to 23.

Ed Asner, who played August March in the original Hawaii Five-0 series, will reprise his role in the spring as a reformed man after serving 30 years in prison for murder. The episode will also feature footage from the original series. Nothing like having the same role for 36 years!

Alanis Morissette will guest star on Up All Night as a hip-hop legend from Ava's former band, Sound LLC. They better have a music video together.

Bobby Cannavale will guest star on Modern Family in early 2012 as the former clown partner of Fizbo, Cam's alter ego, hopefully sans any clown makeup.

The Pawnee Parks Department is visiting Bob's Burgers: Aziz Ansari and Nick Offerman recorded guest spots for the Fox cartoon. Ansari voices a geeky teenager, while Offerman, along with wife Megan Mullally, play aging, married hippie farmers who hire Bob's kids as weed pickers. But would Ron Swanson approve?!

In super cool stunt casting news, Uma Thurman will guest star on the upcoming Smash for a five-episode arc as a famous and difficult movie star who considers starring in the production. Take that, Glee!

Jim Beaver will return to Justified for one episode, with the possibility of at least seven more. So, I guess that answers the question of Bobby on Supernatural.

Eddie Murphy will play Marion Barry (the lovely former D.C. mayor who was caught smoking crack in a hotel room full of prostitutes) in an upcoming HBO biopic directed by Spike Lee. Uh, are they trying to make it a (terrible) comedy?

Lauren Ambrose will star a miniseries reboot of Coma, the 1978 movie based off the 1977 book. Ridley and Tony Scott will produce, while the supporting cast includes Richard Dreyfuss, Ellen Burstyn and Geena Davis. This sounds like it actually has potential, which means it will probably be awful. Sigh.

Lifetime will remake The Blue Lagoon. Have they even seen the original?

HBO is finalizing a deal to pick up the half-hour comedy The Viagra Diaries, starring Goldie Hawn, about a 65-year-old woman who has a midlife crisis after her husband. Take notes, Kate Hudson -- this is exactly what work you'll be doing in 20 years.

Over 100 Occupy Wall Street protesters shut down Law & Order: SVU's OWS-themed set in Foley Square after storming the park, because they "are not a part of corporate TV America." Yet they have no problem going on The Colbert Report.

I do believe all the concepts you have offered in your post. They are very convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are very short for newbies. May you please extend them a bit from subsequent time? Thank you for the post.
