Get a head start on your midseason drama pilots -- for free.

NBC put Smash up on YouTube with hopes of getting some buzz about its Marilyn Monroe Broadway series, which, if you watch the episode, is the most meta thing ever.

The Glee Project just nabbed Lea Michele as a guest mentor. I now feel slightly less ashamed for being excited for Season 2.... only slightly.

There's going to be a Canadian spin-off of The Bachelor. Does this mean the girls will be younger, since the drinking age is lowered there? That's pretty much the only way this version could possibly be any tackier (or more enticing).

In casting news, Geoff Stults' real-life brother will play his onscreen brother, yet again, on The Finder, and True Blood has cast another handsome young-looking dude with sunken cheekbones.

Like gossip about celebrities passing out? It's your day! Choose your poison: Tracy Morgan or Kevin Federline.

And finally, MTV has signed off on a 2Gether reunion. Or, if you prefer it in Calculus: Me + This = Excited.

Looks like another thing to add to the list of things we Canadians have to apologize for.

If NBC keeps posting "Smash" online everywhere (I got it free on iTunes last week, and I saw Yahoo advertising it), no one's going to watch it when it actually premieres on T.V.

@Ida, It worked for New Girl, Revenge and Once Upon a Time. All 3 shows released their pilots way ahead of time and it helped to build positive word of mouth.
I think it can also work in Smashs favor too. Since the pilots release, there's mostly strong positive word of mouth from Twitter, Hulu and YouTube.
