No more Hantz's?!! It's already Survivor's best season ever!

The Survivor: One World cast list has been announced and -- thank the reality show gods! -- there isn't a "returning favorite" amongst them. The Redemption Island angle has been ditched as well in favor of a back-to-basics approach involving more reward challenges and a group of all-new faces, who will inhabit the same camp albeit split into male and female teams. This edition's crop of characters includes a retired LAPD officer, a sushi chef and a stand-up comic. That last contestant had better be careful -- if he's not funny, they'll vote him off the island first.

In other reality show casting news, Emily Maynard is reportedly going to be the next Bachelorette. Although she was Brad Womack's choice of bride on his second-go around as The Bachelor, the two barely made it past the "After the Final Rose" special before announcing they had split up. But hey, second time's always the charm, right?

It's been a long time coming, but Glee has finally cast Rachel's gay dads. The two actors taking on this unenviable assignment? Brian Stokes Mitchell and Jeff Goldblum, who will make their first appearance as LeRoy and Hiram Berry on the show during the Valentine's Day episode. We're looking forward to seeing Don Quixote and The Fly interrogate Finn.

Well, at least it ain't Ricky Gervais. Actor and sometime rapper LL Cool J has been tapped to host this year's Grammy Awards, which will air on CBS on February 12. It's the first time in seven years that the Grammys have bothered to hire a host at all, which means that LL won't have to worry about having anyone to live up to. We'll be disappointed if there isn't at least one "Blue Ivy" joke.

Four years ago, FOX handed Josh Friedman the challenging task of turning The Terminator into a TV series and he did a pretty darn good job of it with the sadly short-lived Sarah Connor Chronicles. Now, Friedman is back in the FOX family as the network just ordered a pilot for his proposed spy series The Asset, about a female CIA agent. We're assuming he picked that title because Alias was already taken.
