Here's one more reason to miss ABC's One Life to Live, which airs its last episode today after a nearly 44-year run: they pay attention to TWoP's reviews! On yesterday's penultimate installment, the OLTL writers gave a shout-out to a certain website known as "Movies Without Sympathy," which lambasted David Vickers Buchanan's (played by Tuc Watkins) latest acting effort, entitled The Boy with the Chipmunk Tattoo.
In the scene (which comes about five minutes into the episode), David is moping around about the movie's toxic reviews and box office, calling himself "box office poison." His dad Bo tries to convince him otherwise, half-halfheartedly saying that he saw the movie twice and loved it. "If only the people at Movies Without Sympathy agreed with you," David shoots back. "They said that my movie was derivative of another Swedish thriller that had a tattoo in it." Sorry Dave, but that's why we're called Movies Without Sympathy... er, Pity: we don't always play nice.
Watch the One Life to Live episode below and join us in wishing the cast and crew a fond farewell after today's final telecast.

I know you're excited to squeal about your OLTL shootout, but correction: The Boy with the Chipmunk Tattoo. I'm available for freelance.
I'll miss OLTL. It could be uneven at times, but when it was good, it was very, very good.
I miss All My Children, still and now I will miss One Life to Live. I will watch the two replacement shows, never.I just feel like a part of my family has left me. I have not watched todays episode but will watch it tonight on the soap network and I watched The View today(have never watched it) but it was very emotional. God Bless All of the Actors/Actresses.
I meant to say, I ''will never'' watch the replacement shows.
I am really going to miss both AMC and OLTL - but OLTL in particular. I've watched it off and on for almost 30 years and it's hard to have something that's been a part of your life for that long just disappear. I'm glad that at least a few of the characters will be living on in Port Charles - at least for a while - but it won't be the same.
I do want to thank all of the performers, writers, and other crew members who have helped bring me so much entertainment for so long, and I hope you will all be gracing my screen again soon!!
I'll probably check out GH - at least for a while - since I give pretty much anything Roger Howarth is on a chance (The original and final Todd, in case anyone didn't know.) But even though I like Mario, Michael Symon and Carla, I'll never watch either of the replacement shows.
Farewell, Llanview!
You're the one with the brains here. I'm wathcnig for your posts.
