Boardwalk Empire sent another character to swim with the fishes this week.

Spoiler Alert: HBO's Boardwalk Empire has decided not to renew a contract for actress Paz de la Huerta (Lucy Danziger) for the upcoming third season. But apparently, everyone is replaceable. Bobby Cannavale will join the show as a series regular. He will play Gyp Rosetti, a new gangster in town who butts heads with Nucky.

It's officially confirmed that L.A. Reid will be back for Season 2 of X Factor, to continue fake arguing with Simon.

FX has extended Sons of Anarchy through a sixth season. Show creator Kurt Sutter has confirmed that he has extended his contract through a seventh and final year for the show. What will we do without our favorite motorcycle gang? I can't even imagine it right now -- it hurts too much.

Terry O'Quinn, or John Locke from Lost, will be a guest star on Season 2 of Falling Skies. He'll appear in the last two episodes of the summer season as a history teacher. No smoke monster included.

Scrubs star Sarah Chalke will star in a new ABC sitcom this fall called How to Live with Your Parents for the Rest of Your Life. In the show, Chalke's character Polly moves back in with her parents after her divorce. At least one doctor from Sacred Heart Medical is still in the spotlight, as opposed to on TV Land.

In more news about exploitations of stereotyped women in big American cities, TLC has ordered a pilot for a new reality show called Southie Pride. The show will go inside Southern Bostonian homes to get in inside look at what makes them stand out from the housewives of Beverly Hills, New York, Atlanta, New Jersey, Orange County, the Mob, basketball, football, baseball...

Lifetime is developing a new mini-series titled Columbine, based on the events that took place in 1999 at Columbine High School from the accounts of the 2009 same-titled book by Dave Cullen. Michael DeLuca of Moneyball and The Social Network fame will produce the project.

And, to end in some fun news, Modern Family will be taking the whole Pritchett/Dunphy/Delgado/Tucker clan to Disney for their next family vacation. Nothing like a 30 minute commercial for ABC's parent company!
