Wonder how Levi feels about this...
Sarah Palin's daughter, Bristol, signed for her own reality show on Lifetime. The current title for the series is, Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp. See what she did there? Her son's name is Tripp! And speaking of reality show stars who are unfit to have children, anyone hear about Snooki?
ABC Family has ordered eight more episodes of Jane By Design, bringing the first season to an 18-episode count. We can get our '80s movies fix a little while longer now.
Billy Ray Cyrus is returning to 90210 to reprise his role as country western star Judd Ridge. We thought we got enough mullet from Real Housewives of Orange County's Slade this week... guess not.
Josh Hopkins has joined the cast of the NBC pilot Lady Friends, which also stars Rachel Dratch. Of course, he'll have to drop the role if his current series, Cougar Town, is brought back for a fourth season. I don't know if I'm more excited for a fourth season of Cougar Town or a first season of anything with Rachel Dratch.
Max Adler of Glee fame has booked a guest starring role on the ABC drama pilot Last Resort about a submarine crew. No word on whether he'll continue to play Karofsky or become a regular on the new series.
He's directed five episodes of Justified (including the best Season 3 episode so far, "Thick As Mud") and now Adam Arkin will guest star in two episodes later this season as Quarles' boss and head of the Detroit mafia, Theo Tonin.
Brett Butler will appear on Charlie Sheen's new series Anger Management in a recurring role. She'll play Brett (appropriate name, there) a bartender at the bar where Sheen's anger management therapist hangs out. I don't know what's less believable -- the fact that someone is letting Sheen play a therapist or that someone's letting him within ten feet of a bar.
In Downton Abbey news, the beloved British series has cast Cara Theobald and Lucille Sharp as the manor's newest maids, Ivy and Miss Reid respectively. Can't wait to see Carson and Miss Hughes whip them into shape.
And finally, the TWoP team extends its deepest condolences to the family of Monkees frontman Davy Jones, who passed away this morning at age 66 after suffering a heart attack. Whether you prefer "Daydream Believer" or "I'm a Believer," Jones was always a consummate showman.
