While I'm gushing about this episode, the Tanner Dodd landmine incident was a lot of fun to watch, especially given the payoff of an explosion. I was especially happy to see that this fake CGI fire was much better than the effects we saw when Dodd rigged Napier's car in "Watching the Detectives." (It also reminded me of Arrested Development's J. Walter Weatherman: "And that's why you always leave a note.") Justified is taking its time leading Raylan directly to Quarles, and only makes stops when they're extremely entertaining -- just look at this scene, and the one prior where Raylan tells Napier: "Sheriff, I'm pretty certain he ain't coming."

I'd also like to point out Quarles' funniest moment of his time on this show so far: His fake "Mmm!" noises when Limehouse was describing shoofly pie... of course, it was funny/freaky (in that American Horror Story kind of way), but it did make me laugh out loud. Imogen Dodd was also an excellent addition to the episode, especially upon implying that Raylan was a no-dick lawman. Speaking of, I agree with Raylan that social awkwardness is often the curse of a genius, and laughed out loud when we learned that his special agent was a paid-off big rig driver. With only four episodes left in the season, I hope we can all cut out the barbeque pig king bullshit and see where all of this comes together in the end. If not, "That would upset me."
