Nothin' grim about this.

NBC has picked up Grimm for a second season. I'm not shocked at the fact that the show got more episodes; I'm shocked that NBC thought up The Playboy Club, The Firm, Free Agents and Prime Suspect all at the same time -- looks like we know where they put all their energy.

Melrose Place alum Thomas Calabro has signed on to the next season of Glee to play Puck's father opposite Gina Hecht, who played Puck's mom in Season One. I wonder what kind of crazy background story Ryan Murphy has under his sleeve for this. Maybe his father is a genius-psychopath-serial-killer who secretly sings as well? I smell a theme episode!

Parenthood resident drunk John Corbett will star in the new CBS drama pilot Widow Detective as a police chief who doubles as a daddy and a family man to the kids of other officers who have died in the line of duty. Sounds happy!

Felicia Day is set to guest-star in an upcoming episode of Supernatural on April 27. The episode, titled "The Girl With the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo", will feature Day as a girl named Charlie who works for Dick Roman's companies by day and gets into trouble with Sam and Dean by night.

CBS has started putting their new reality pilot called The Job together. The show will be hosted by Lisa Ling and will feature five contestants competing to win their dream job. So, it's MTV's Hired."

It's a sad day for fans of crappy TV: Bravo's dating show Love Broker has been pulled after its two-episode long first season. Unfortunately, this first and only season will finish its run this summer.

Gossip Girl alum Sebastian Stan has joined the cast of USA's drama pilot Political Animals along side Sigourney Weaver, who plays a former first lady struggling to balance political and family life. Stan will play her son T.J., who struggles with addiction.

TBS has picked up a new reality show called King of the Nerds, hosted by Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong. The show will challenge contestants' knowledge on all things nerdy in order to be crowned "King of the Nerds". Can't they just revive Beat the Geeks instead?

Talk about not letting things die with grace: ABC Family is creating a fifth installment of the Home Alone franchise to air during its 25 Days of Christmas special lineup. I hope I speak for most '90s kids when I say I want nothing to do with this.

A&E is starting to film a pilot called Barter Kings, which will air this summer. The show follows barterers who trade belongings over and over until they can obtain some piece of crap worth some sort of value to them.
