Are you not entertained?!

Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season
No need to engage in online piracy anymore, folks! The first season of HBO's splendid fantasy series Game of Thrones is finally available legally (and affordably) on DVD. Based on the terrific books by George R. R. Martin, Thrones transports viewers to the medieval land of Westeros, where things are getting real crazy, yo. By the end of the ten-episode arc, kings will be made (and unmade), heads will be lost, backs will be stabbed, schemes will be launched, warriors will be born and Peter Dinklage and Emilia Clarke will kick all sorts of ass as conniving Tyrion Lannister and bold Daenerys Targaryen respectively. And don't worry about not being finished in time for the start of Season 2 on April 1. Once you watch the first episode, you'll blow though the whole season in, like, a weekend.
Extras: Tons of good stuff -- in addition to cast and crew commentaries on almost every episode, there are also in-depth making of featurettes, character profiles, a handy introduction to the language spoken by the horse-riding Dothraki and a complete and comprehensive guide to the history and houses of Westeros. This box set is an entertaining show and an encyclopedia all in one!

Transformers: Prime -- The Complete First Season
A loose tie-in with the Transformers film franchise, the umpteenth television iteration of the Hasbro toy line is a CGI-animated affair written by Robert Orci and Alex Kurtzman (who penned the scripts for the first two movies... yes, they had scripts, believe it or not) and features vocal performances by such folks as Adam Baldwin, Dwayne Johnson, Gina Torres and, of course, Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime. As in the movies, the war between the Autobots and Decepticons has moved from Unicron to Earth, where the two clans of giant transforming robots combat each other while trying to avoid detection by mankind. If they really wanted to stay hidden, these robots would spend more time in disguise and less time fighting each other.
Extras: Audio commentaries, a making-of documentary, a featurette about Prime's toy line and a graphic novel.

Happily Divorced: Season One
In yet another example of how it's sometimes best to write what you know, Fran Drescher based this TV Land sitcom on her own experience with ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson, who came out after their marriage ended. (The two produce the show as well.) Drescher plays a version of herself on the series, while Christopher Guest mainstay John Michael Higgins co-stars as Jacobson's stand-in. A solid hit when it premiered last summer, Happily Divorced returns to TV Land tomorrow night for a 12-episode Season 2.
Extras: Cast and crew interviews and two behind-the-scenes featurettes.Fan Favorites
If you took the time to vote in CBS Home Entertainment's Fan Favorite Poll on Facebook, the results are now in. The studio is releasing special "Best Of" editions of seven popular shows, featuring between 5-8 episodes handpicked by viewers like you (or, judging from some of the titles that are being re-released, maybe your mom and dad or even grandma and grandpa). The seven series debuting in this first wave are Cheers, The Odd Couple, Happy Days (which somehow doesn't include the famous "jump the shark" episode -- c'mon people, what's wrong with you?) , Hogan's Heroes, The Honeymooners, Frasier and MacGyver. We can't wait to vote for our favorite episodes of such CBS-owned properties as Charmed, Nash Bridges and Walker, Texas Ranger. Although when it comes to Walker, how could we possibly choose just five favorite installments?
Extras: Just the episodes... and the satisfaction of knowing you made your voice heard.

Also on DVD:
If the recent release of the Underdog box set whet your appetite for more vintage '60s TV cartoons, here comes Tennessee Tuxedo and His Tales: The Complete Collection, in which the titular penguin has a variety of misadventures both in and outside of the wacky zoo he calls home. The Jada Pinkett Smith medical series flatlined last year, but fans can get one last fix via Hawthorne: The Complete Third Season. If Men in Black III bombs this summer, it's going to be to Smith kids Willow and Jaden to ensure the clan stays jiggy with it. Finally, in British TV on DVD news, the popular spy serial MI-5: Volume 10 releases another batch of episodes on disc, while Above Suspicion: Set 1 collects Series 1 and 2 of Prime Suspect creator Lynda LaPlante's new crime drama starring Irish character actor CiarĂ¡n Hinds.
