The upfronts are over. Time to start speculating about Glee's future again!
Looks like the graduating McKinley High glee club will still be answering "Present" when the series come Season 4. Fox has confirmed that stars Lea Michele, Naya Rivera, Amber Riley, Cory Monteith and the rest of the crew are contracted to return in the fall. The only question now is, how long will they stick around? Those discussions will happen while school's out this summer, with series co-creator Ryan Murphy saying that he's given all of the actors the option of exploring new opportunities if they don't want to commit to a full 22-episode run. In other words, that stalled Funny Girl revival might finally be coming to Broadway now that Michele has a possible out of her Glee contract.A&E bids farewell to its son of Prison Break series Breakout Kings, cancelling it after only two seasons. But co-creator Matt Olmstead already has a new gig -- he's the showrunner on NBC's fall firefighter series, Chicago Fire.
It's official! Daniel Radcliffe will be playing a young Jon Hamm in the four-part British miniseries, A Young Doctor's Notebook. There's no production date or airdate yet, but we're seriously considering casting a fast-forwarding spell to make this Dream Team-project get here faster.
The Syfy series Haven has booked two recurring stars for its third season, set to launch in September. Dorian Missick from Southland will play a Boston detective who turns up in town looking for a serial killer, while Kate Kelton will pop up as a waitress with a spiffy tattoo that signifies she belongs to a super-secret organization. Is it a dragon tattoo by any chance?
Finally, here's a peek at one of our most anticipated summer series, USA's Political Animals starring Sigourney Weaver, Adrian Pasdar and Carla Gugino. Mark your calendars for July 15 people.
