As you may have gathered during upfronts week, CBS, NBC and Fox are each suing Dish Network because of its new feature, AutoHop, which lets you completely skip over all commercials. This innovative service will replace the traditional "changing the channel" feature that most people without DVRs currently use.

Grant Bowler of True Blood has been cast as Richard Burton opposite Lindsay Lohan's Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime's Liz & Dick. No word yet on who will be hired to stand behind Lohan to whisper all of her lines and keep her upright.

NBC's upcoming Animal Practice replaced pilot actress Amy Huberman with Reba's Joanna Garcia. The real star of the show, the monkey -- kept his job... then of course, when the star of a show is a monkey, no one's going to have their job for very long.

This season's American Idol winner, Phillip Phillips, had a whopping eight surgeries during his time on the show. (This was revealed by his father, who is also named Phillip Phillips.) We sincerely wish that Phillips makes a great recovery, and that his future children all be daughters.
