TWoP 10: Biggest Snubs By the 2012 Emmy Nominations

There were a lot of big surprises yesterday during the Emmy nominations, but most of them just served to make us angry. And while we've simmered down a bit, we're still very confused about the shows that the voters apparently watch. And we're pretty sure that sometimes they just see a recognizable film star's name, get excited and check their box, regardless of quality (that's the only way we can explain the love for Uma Thurman and Kathy Bates). Here are the snubs that we just can't believe:

Imagine if the girls from Pretty Little Liars lived in a small southern town, returned to it as adults, oh, and never blinded anyone.

Emmy Award Nominations 2012: Our Gut Reactions

Jimmy Kimmel and Kerry Washington got up early to read us the Emmy nominations, with Kimmel in his pajamas acting like an idiot doing nothing to help our mood as the Outstanding Comedy announcements were made. We didn't expect everything on our wish list to be acknowledged, but the fact that Community and Parks and Recreation were absent from the big category made us want to smash something, Hulk-style. If only we could get zapped by some gamma radiation before the actual awards on September 23.

Project Runway: Our Hopes for Season 10

We still can't believe how much we loved Project Runway All Stars, to the point that we're kind of bummed that Isaac Mizrahi, Georgina Chapman, Joanna Coles and Angela Lindvall won't be around this season. Much as we enjoyed Season 9 (not to mention the fact that we'd never turn down more Tim Gunn in our lives), we're a little worried that the show will now fall the way of other reality competitions that lost stamina after an all-star season (looking at you, Top Chef). Here's what we're hoping that the powers that be at Lifetime bring to the runway this season:

Joel McHale is going to roll with the Sons of Anarchy gang. Somehow we think that they won't be so intimidated.

The L.A. Complex: Why Season 2 is Worth Watching

Earlier this year, The CW began airing The L.A. Complex, a Canadian import from the creators of Degrassi: The Next Generation. The show centers around a group of ambitious twentysomethings trying to "make it" in the City of Angels, only to realize that achieving their Hollywood dreams means sacrificing more than they could have ever expected. The series, which received tragically low ratings for The CW, was picked up for a Season 2 and will begin airing new episodes on July 17. If you were in the vast majority of people not watching, you missed out on one of the better dramas on The CW to date (even though that's not saying much). With Season 2 just around the corner, here are the reasons why it's worth giving The L.A. Complex another shot.

Comic-Con -- the world's biggest geek press conference -- brought tons of insider info on all things television and film. TV and movie news? Awesome. Dressing up like any Marvel character? We'd rather not squeeze in the tights.

Degrassi: Superlatives for the Summer Season

If you haven't watched Degrassi: The Next Generation since Paige-and-Co. graduated, this summer is the perfect time to get acquainted with the current students of Degrassi Community School. Starting tonight, TeenNick will air new episodes of Degrassi Monday through Thursday. Don't believe the slander -- Degrassi hasn't died along with the use of Aubrey Graham's full name. This guilty pleasure is still as strong as ever, thanks mostly to the fantastic variety pack of characters that we've been treated to these past few seasons. Here are some of the superlatives we think these students deserve come yearbook time.
