Given how dull Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette has been (aside from the drama with Kalon), rumors that Ali Fedotowsky's ex Roberto Martinez may be in the running to be the next Bachelor don't instill us with a lot of hope. He's a nice guy, but dull as dirt. So now that Emily has ditched most of her suitors and found one she can tolerate (for now), we took a look back at her men (and a few from seasons before) to find a better choice of leading man. And yes, some of them may currently have girlfriends, but given the average life expectancy of a Bachelor relationship, we don't foresee that being a problem.
Arie Luyendyk, Jr.
He just got dumped on national television by Emily and is a sensitive soul who likes to keep a journal. But yet, he's also a race car driver and not completely unattractive to look at. Given the sullen looks on the faces of the girls in the audience who watched him get his heart "broken," we're sure we're not alone in wanting him on the show. Just find him a bevy of single moms to date, since that seems to be his thing.

Jillian's ex is on Bachelor Pad this summer, and while there's something a little off about him, we'd get behind him for Bachelor because he was smart enough to dump a girl who compares her boyfriends to hot dog toppings. But really, we mostly want him handing out roses because it would be great fun (for us, not so much for him) to see if he's still suffering from his erectile dysfunction issues during the overnight dates.

Only skinny girls who want to be loved on and loved up on should apply if he's The Bachelor. He's a little rude, but he has Southern charm and it makes us love and hate him all at the same time. Let's find this dude a trophy wife that he can bring home to his mama.
Michael Stagliano
The perpetual Bachelor Pad contestant is seriously unlucky when it comes to finding love on television, but he's an adorable everydude that we enjoy watching. He's funny and strategic and has that puppy dog look down to a science. Why not let him travel the world for free and get to go on dates? Holly can be his relationship consultant.
Tony Pieper
He was also dumped by Emily this season, but the single dad has some potential. He gives good cry and will talk about his son constantly, and that worked for Jason Mesnick. Nothing we love more than watching a grown man cry... all the time.
Alex Michel
Let's go old school and bring back the guy who originally started this whole disaster of a show. Old people need love too.
Sean Lowe
Before Arie, he seemed like a shoo-in to be the next Bachelor. Such a nice all-American boy, with an upper-middle class family and he was sweet, but not overly sensitive. He could play pranks on his beauties, and we could find out if he was really only joking about still living at home with his mother.
Chris Harrison
He's said he would never do the show, but now that he's single again, it seems like a no-brainer for the tables to be turned and for him to be the next Bachelor. Not sure how the women would know there was only one rose left if he didn't awkwardly come out and tell them, but maybe he could do double duty.
