The fact that Jess had an inroad with models might have been the reason she was brought into the apartment with the guys in the first place, but seeing her interact with them just makes us sad. And not even in a funny sad sort of way. That said, "Models" still managed to be a mostly entertaining episode -- surprisingly enough -- and there was just the right amount of Schmidt.
Do's
The fact that Jess and CeCe celebrate CeCe's birthday by eating cake, watching Clueless on VHS and making dresses out of towels.
Boob slap fighting.
Nick's rule: "The only time a man is allowed to think about another man is when that man is Jay Cutler."
Schmidt buying Nick a cookie just because he was thinking of him.
Nick's dream pet: "Do you think Jess would be mad if I got a turtle and named it Jess even though I had the name picked out before she moved in?"
The things Schmidt does for Nick: Lining up his shoes, DVRing his favorite shows, providing a turn down service.
Jess's plan on talking to CeCe's coworkers: "The best way to talk to models is just to point to objects and describe them."
Every delightful minute of Nick and Schmidt's first meeting in his dorm room, with Schmidt crunching on raw Ramen and acting like a trained seal for Pop Tarts.
Nick's concerns: "Schmidt loves me so much, and to be honest, Jess it scares me. I don't think I deserve all of Schmidt's love. All I do is tease him."
The fact that Schmidt DIDN'T beg Jess to take him to the model party, and that he didn't make a big deal of CeCe being over to celebrate her birthday.
Young Jess and CeCe
Young Winston and Nick
Jess trying to figure out what was wrong with her roommates: " Did you guys watch porn together again? Why do you keep doing that? It's always awkward."
Now we know what they'll call this show when it airs in Japan: "They call me Giggle Bangs Rice Ball."
Hungover CeCe with the brush in her hair.
This exchange between Nick and Schmidt: "Who's your favorite rapper?" "Brian Austin Green."
Don'ts
The entire thing to do with the monkey from the Russian cracker ad, particularly Jess dancing like one and the forced Romanian joke.
Everything involving drinking vodka with your butt, except for CeCe.
The giant Ford ad product placement.
Winston again was only there to facilitate the relationship between Nick and Schmidt, instead of really having his own storyline with the roommates.
Trying to believe that Jess couldn't walk in those heels when we've seen her in heels before. Or the guy who didn't think she was a model, even though she's really attractive.
Most of the spinning car physical comedy, except for announcer Jerry saying "It's not that difficult to get out."
Most of Nadia's stereotypical stuff, except for her hook up with Wilmer Valderrama. Only because that guy was great.
Where was CeCe's boyfriend?
