Meanwhile, in non-hurricane related news...

After already going through one big creative overhaul, more changes are in store for NBC's Up All Night. When the underrated (both critically and Nielsen-wise) comedy returns in February, it will ditch its current single-camera format in favor of a multi-camera approach filmed in front of a live studio audience. Because how will viewers at home know to laugh at Christina Applegate and Will Arnett's antics if the voices on the TV don't give them a cue?

Recently freed the cancelled USA series Common Law, Warren Kole has nabbed an important recurring role on the Fox procedural, The Following. He'll play one of serial killer James Purefoy's most devoted (and deadliest) fans. Have we mentioned how much we're looking forward to this show already?

Community is still MIA from NBC's primetime schedule, but the show's fired creator Dan Harmon's return to television is inching forward. Adult Swim has given Harmon's animated series Rick and Morty a ten-episode order to premiere sometime in 2014. At which point, he and Chevy Chase may finally be on speaking terms again so Fletch can make a voice cameo.

Guess Chloƫ Sevigny won't be back for whatever the next incarnation of American Horror Story turns out to be. The actress is getting a new star vehicle in the form of the A&E series, Those Who Kill. Adapted from a Danish series (because that worked out so well with The Killing) by X-Files writer Glen Morgan, the show casts Sevigny as a workaholic detective who takes her job a little too seriously. We're just waiting for the episode where she goes undercover at a polygamist commune.

Ethan Embry of Can't Hardly Wait mega-fame will join Once Upon a Time in a recurring role. This means it can only be a matter of time until his old castmate Seth Green finally stops playing with his Robot Chicken toys and starts acting again.

The daytime talk show wars have claimed another victim. CNN's Anderson Cooper has lost his syndicated chat show, effective at the conclusion of its sophomore year. Good thing he's got a hurricane to chase.

Mark Deklin, late of ABC's cancelled comic soap, GCB, has replaced Chris Wiehl from Switched at Birth for an upcoming guest spot on Castle. C'mon, they couldn't have taken the opportunity for another mini-Firefly reunion with Nathan Fillion? Sean Maher can't be all that busy.

Finally, Joss Whedon has offered a political endorsement for the upcoming election as only he can. If the zombie apocalypse does indeed come to pass, we're voting a straight Whedon ticket.
