Starting off with three very fun pieces of casting news, Gillian Anderson will have a multi-episode arc on NBC's upcoming Hannibal, Margo Martindale will be back on FX in The Americans and Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson will be on How I Met Your Mother.

The series finale of Private Practice will air Tuesday, January 22. I can't even imagine how happy Kate Walsh must be right now.

Speaking of good calls, Billy Campbell will not return for Season 3 of The Killing.

TV Land renewed The Soul Man and The Exes, which I'm sure is exciting to someone's grandmother somewhere.

In development news, TLC ordered something called Best Funeral Ever, while Logo greenlit a daily live sex and relationship advice show, OWN bought both a drama and a comedy from Tyler Perry and VH1 announced a bunch of new trashy reality shows. Okay, I realize that barely any of this comes as a shock, but on the bright side, Best Week Ever is coming back! (Does that mean the BWE blog will be resurrected? Please say yes.)
