It's a Valloween unmiracle!

Looks like Valloween won't become an annual Greendale tradition. Following better-than-expected ratings for its Season 4 premiere, Community took a big hit in its second episode, attracting only 2.8 million viewers, down from the 4 million who watched last week's episode. ABC's Zero Hour had a mediocre launch as well, with only 6.3 million pairs of eyeballs watching Anthony Edwards fool around with clocks.

With iCarly in her rearview, Miranda Cosgrove is giving grown-up TV a try, signing on to NBC's Christina Ricci comedy pilot Girlfriend in a Coma as Ricci's 17-year-old daughter. Wait a minute... little Wednesday Addams is old enough to be a mom? Excuse us while a piece of our childhood dies.

Kirstie Alley becomes the latest faded TV star to find a new home on TV Land. The network has picked up Kirstie's New Show, in which the former Cheers leading lady plays a Broadway thespian who suddenly finds herself playing the most challenging role of all: mother to the 26-year-old son she gave up for adoption. Rhea Perlman and Michael Richards will also appear on the series, because it's TV Land rules to have at least three '90s-era TV actors on one sitcom.

After taking a year off from TV following the end of Desperate Housewives, Felicity Huffman is getting back into the game, joining the Fox pilot Boomerang, John Wells's assassin-based series. Meanwhile, the J.J. Abrams-produced series Believe has added Jake McLaughlin to its cast and Madeline Carroll climbs aboard The CW drama Blink.

Clearly, NBC just has it in for Bryan Fuller. After dumping the pilot for his Munsters reboot on a Friday night, the network is now premiering his Hannibal Lecter series in the inauspicious month of April, where such shows as Best Friends Forever went to die. Hannibal officially premieres on April 4 at 10 PM, with its cancellation set for three weeks later.

At least she'll always have 2 Broke Girls. Whitney Cummings has lost her weekly E! talk show and her low-rated NBC sitcom seems equally unlikely of survival. Maybe she can intern as Max and Caroline's new cupcake intern... off-camera, of course.
