The Nine Best Lines from the Bad Girls Club Season 8 Premiere

The Nine Best Lines from the Bad Girls Club Season 8 Premiere

I'm frankly shocked that it took Bad Girls Club this long to set a season in Las Vegas -- where else can you pull out a bitch's weave at 8 AM in 105-degree weather? The teaser for this season promises a lot of nudity, fighting and blacking out on the streets of Nevada, and if last night's premiere was any indication, it will all be pretty awesome and full of puking. I feel especially confident after hearing these highly ridiculous quotes during the episode (and there were more in the introductory flash-forward, but let's just stick to what we actually saw go down):

The Nine Best Lines from the Bad Girls Club Season Seven Premiere

Honestly, honestly, honestly -- and I'm gonna be real with you, because I'm real -- Bad Girls Club is back, bitches. Though Season Six was maybe the worst in the series' history, starting off Season Seven with breakfast in bed got me all warm and fuzzy inside. From the fabulous editing (Jersey Shore can really learn a thing or two about ironic cuts and the use of filters) to the ridiculous reasons for fighting, there's good reason to believe that New Orleans will breathe the life back into this show. In order to further my case, let's take a look at the most memorable lines spewed, shouted and shrieked in this premiere.

Bad Girls Club: New Season, More Slapping Than Ever

Bad Girls Club: New Season, More Slapping Than Ever

The show starts off with a screaming, slapping and hair-pulling fight that's unfolding in the midst of a car with three of the new girls, and that's before the episode even starts. They then pull back to let us know that it's 17 days after their first meeting. It's a little sneak preview of what we can expect from the baddest batch of bad girls ever. Personally, I didn't think they could find a more heinous batch of girls than they had last season. And I was wrong, though I'm not sure anyone will ever be as awesome as the marvel that was Tanisha.

Vinny from The Challenge: Battle of the Exes would've made this week's list if we were positive he had actually torn Mandi's top off (and because he callously ignored Sarah's feelings), but we watched that scene six times and it looks like Mandi may have just bounced out of her shirt. The verdict is unclear, so we'll give him a pass, even if T.J. Lavin didn't.

TWoP 10 Best Reality TV Smackdowns

TWoP 10 Best Reality TV Smackdowns Realizing that not everyone is a Big Brother junkie like moi, there was a massive verbal battle this week that went from a discussion to getting nearly everyone in the house in a senseless screaming match. It is way beyond convoluted to explain (though M.Giant did a good job attempting to) but it got us thinking about how reality shows are really at their best when people just let their freak flags fly and start swearing or punching. Honestly, we could fill this whole list with stupid stuff that had happened on Big Brother or A Shot at Love but I'm trying hard to give you a little bit of variety here. I'm told that's the spice of life. With that, here are some of the most disgusting or ridiculous squabbles ever to grace the small screen. Though I'm sure this list will be outdated by tomorrow.

For Real? A Reality Show About A Reality Show?

by Lauren Gitlin June 20, 2008 12:42 pm
For Real? A Reality Show About A Reality Show? Have you guys heard? The D-List is the new A-List. Just ask EMMY WINNER Kathy Griffin. Or better yet, ask the fools producing a new Fox reality show called Gimme My Reality Show! in which, um, reality-show D-listers (which in the real world makes them Q-Listers) compete to, um, star in a reality show. It's so meta my head just exploded. A few of the peeps on board thus far are Santino Rice, he of Project Runway Season Two fame and Traci Bingham of Baywatch, which is apparently a reality show (?) now. A panel of judges made up of reality show producers and reality show A-Listers (H-listers in actual fact) will judge contestants on their ability to like, throw a hissy fit and alienate their castmates, presumably. Clearly Santino would make for a killer reality show star. I mean CLEARLY. The man has more fierce bitchy queen shenanigoats stored in his pinky than Traci has in BOTH of her silicon boobs. And I can't imagine anyone else who could even come close to his diva-tude. OR CAN I?
