Instant Karma: My Name Is Earl Wants to Hear From TWoP Readers!

If you had a question you could ask the cast, crew, or writers of My Name Is Earl, what would it be? Here's your chance to actually get an answer: The fine folks who produce the show are asking TWoP readers for their help with a bonus feature that will be created for the show's next DVD release. They want to collect questions from you and then they'll pick the best ones and film responses from the actors and crew. The footage will appear on the Season 4 box set. Pretty cool.

All you have to do is post your questions in this forum thread or in the comments section of this blog posting. If you'd like to potentially be mentioned by name on the DVD, please include your real name and hometown along with your questions. (But if you just want to use your screenname, that's fine, too.) This opportunity ends at midnight EST on Sunday, March 8, so if you're interested, start posting!

My Name is Earl: Worst Episodes My Name is Earl is a much funnier show than it should be, but even that doesn't save it from the occasional piece of crap episode. Our own Zach Oat has called out the show's worst half-hours, ruined by plot contrivances, dream sequences, coma love, and that evil little thing called stuntcasting. Get the full list here, and come back to file your own Earl grievances in the comments.
My Name is Earl… and Jason Priestley’s Name is ‘Blake’

On tonight's episode of My Name is Earl, Jason Priestley makes a guest appearance, the latest in a string of high-profile guest-stars that have been on the show, including David Arquette, Seth Green, Jenna Elfman and that dude from Children of the Corn. We asked Jason about his guest stint as Earl's cousin, then snuck in the requisite 90210 questions, since he's directing an upcoming episode of the show, and also because he was a dreamboat on the original who made sideburns cool again.

Today's TWoP News: April 1, 2009

It's a great news day! Pushing Daisies's last episodes finally got an air date, Chuck got a third season pickup and I'm going on The Amazing Race. April Fool's! I know, it isn't nice to toy with people's emotions like that. I feel a little guilty, but that last one is sort of true... just as soon as I can scrape up the cash! Some smart person finally found a way to offer TAR travel excursions to regular people, where you bebop all over Europe and do crazy stunts... for a fee, and sadly without Phil and his eyebrows. Still -- cool, right? Now if we can just work on the networks about making those other two things happen, it really would be a banner day. In other news...
