More celebrity drug scandals! We don't usually gossip like this, but when stars actually go to jail, we take notice. Plus, Adam Lambert news!
More Glee? Awesome. Less Sarah Michelle Gellar? Terrible. More Elisabeth Moss? Awesome. Yet another Tricia Helfer guest spot? Awesome, but not really a surprise anymore. Oceanic Airlines on Desperate Housewives? Cutesy, but awesome. Awesome wins.
Let's see, what's in the news today... Hmm, nothing really, except a major tabloid scandal! Personal indiscretions aren't usually our beat, but since it happened on television...
Good news, everyone! A show has been canceled and un-canceled, another has been re-titled, another remade, and a book adapted! That last one might not be such good news, but we remain ever optimistic! O frabjous day! Callooh callay!
Katherine Heigl is a baby-blocker, and Jim Breuer is bogarting that ex-SNLer sitcom money. And America loves NCIS shows. Who knew! Oh, yeah -- everybody knew.
Happy May Day everybody. Do people still do that pretty thing where they dance around a maypole with ribbons? I wouldn't know. I've been inside catching up on TV all day. I'm still stuck on how Private Practice ended its season and giving this whole thing way more attention than it deserves, but really, it has gone off the soapy deep end with all this Violet stuff. Anyway... on to the choice that its crappy parent show is making.
If it's Tuesday, this must be TWoP News! There's a lot of moving and shaking going on this week, as shows change timeslots (or defiantly don't), shows get canceled (or surprisingly don't), and showrunners leave shows (that don't even have names yet). Also, someone is injuring our nation's celebrities, and it may be Michael Flatley. Let's begin!
I started off not being able to find any good news, but then I kinda hit the mother lode. Some very funny guys got cast in some hopefully funny TV shows, Simon Cowell may leave our country for good, and Showtime is going to Camelot. Meanwhile, Tim Robbins is S.O.L. It's all ahead, on Today's TwoP News!
Happy Passover and good Good Friday to you all, television lovers. On this holy day we have some probably bad news for Dollhouse fans, potentially good news for Melora Hardin fans, and excellent news for Motley Crue fans. So before you hit your third night of no carbs/head to church/go out and get plastered (an important tradition for the holiday known as Weekend), take a gander at these TV newsbites and see if there's a chance that Dollhouse may have a shot a resurrection, much like Jesus on this weekend approximately 2,000 years ago.
Ben-Hur born again? The Mentalist challenged? American Inventor re-invented? These news stories and more on today's TWoP News, filmed before a live studio audience, with special guest-star Mary Steenburgen.
