The ridiculously attractive stars and the creators of The CW's Beauty and the Beast and Reign met the press at this past weekend's New York Comic Con and here's some of what they had to say:
In the forthcoming CW show Beauty and the Beast, Kristin Kreuk plays an NYPD homicide detective, and to say that she's unconvincing is an understatement. There's not one thing about her part as a tough cop that we buy, and whenever she doles out some police jargon, it's entirely laughable. We briefly considered that this might be the most implausible character that the former Smallville star could ever play, but then we came up with a few other roles that would be an even more of an awkward fit.
Watch the kiss that revolutionized television. Or, New Girl, at least.
Best present ever.
In today's news of things nobody asked for...
Lots of episode orders today, so let's get to it.
You've got to hand it to The CW: they know how to really keep an upfront moving. From kicking it off with a performance by Flo Rida to just jumping right in to a preview of their most interesting new series, Arrow, it flew by faster than any other network presentation this week. Sure, they spent time discussing social media and whatnot, but it was all broken up by on-stage appearances by the very beautiful people who are on their shows. And hey, most of their upcoming shows look watchable, if not legitimately entertaining, and since they're recycling a ton of their talent (and in some cases, characters), we feel like we know these programs already.
Thank you, AMC.
