It's that time of year when we honor all that mothers do for their children. Though in the case of the television personalities below, being a good mom consists of pimping out your kids or hitting them with an actual hammer. Yes, these are some really special women. So happy Mother's Day and be grateful that these women didn't give birth to you.
What better way to take your mind off of Watchmen and the entirely virtual nerd-fights it has inspired than by reading some excitingly nerdy TV news? There's a lot of exciting casting news today, mostly about aliens, vampires and superheroes, plus some news that might make your head explode, like in that movie Scanners. Basically, this entire news roundup is a sci-fi horror show. And it's all true, or at least rumored to be true. Watchmen, what have ye wrought?!
Hey, remember those ads for Gossip Girl's first season that showed the teenage cast members totally getting it on? Well, the CW is stepping it up for the next season -- not only will the underage girls look even more orgasmic, but the previous campaign's "OMFG" tagline will be replaced by quotes from the press about the show... just not the glowing, sex-centric quotes you might expect.
When it comes to TV, there are way more fabulous and high-profile roles for moms and the poor dads get the short shrift. However, we spent
minutes weeks hunting through Wikipedia and our collective minds the annals of television for the best and worst TV dads that we could remember. Well, at least these are the ones that left an indelible mark on us, and not with wire hangers or anything (though we may not put that past some of the dastardly daddies on our naughty list). So in honor of Father's Day, here's our slapped together long-awaited list in alphabetical order (because we just couldn't decide if Jack Bristow or Keith Mars would be the No. 1 perfect patriarch).
