In these days of Simpsons fatigue, Family Guy clones and lackluster Mike Judge comedies, the state of primetime animation is at an all-time low. (South Park has somehow managed to stay smart, timely and relevant.) So an injection of the late-night sensibilities of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim into the primetime world is a welcome change. FX's new spy parody Archer was created by Frisky Dingo and Sealab 2021 co-creator Adam Reed, and it brings an edgy intelligence to the 10:00 hour that thirteen "different" Seth MacFarlane shows just won't give you.
Today we learn some valuable life lessons. Always pay your taxes if you want to be on reality TV. Families that perform together, stay together. And don't let your children watch TV if they have bad teeth.
