Heidi Klum is abiding by everyone's favorite age-old adage: sex sells!

On this season of So You Think You Can Dance, a famous face has graced the judging panel for every live show. Overall, we were impressed by the quality of these mostly articulate celebs who seemed to be genuine fans of the franchise and who were able to actually spout opinions instead of just clap like seals. So we've ranked the special guests (though not the choreographers who were plucked to be on the panel, because we'd never be able to decide between Lil 'C and Travis Wall) to determine who was the best this summer.

Britney Spears playing a dental assistant to John Stamos is something you never thought you'd hear, but so is Kate Gosselin "performing" at the Emmys. Unlike Real Housewives of O.C. Lynn Curtin, who's also in today's news, we're not high ("on life") when reporting these headlines...

Marty comes to HBO, Megan Mullally plays a mom, Ms. Moon Frye reminisces, Mister Rogers gets memorialized and Mad Men stay mad. This TWoP News is brought to you by the letter "M."

Tonight marks the epic return of Ron Swanson's ex-wife Tammy on Parks and Recreation, and the episode is just one big whirlwind of crazy sex grunts, corn rows and half-shaved mustaches. I highly recommend it! To promote the event, Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally were kind enough to speak to me at 7 AM (their time -- I don't get up before 10) this morning to discuss the episode, the future of Children's Hospital, who will win The Bachelor, their poodles and other burning issues. Read on for the whole shebang.

Now that the fall TV season is in full swing the time has come for a deluge of the second most exciting kind of pilot news in the biz. I am of course talking about the mid-season replacement shows! They are upon us! They are among us! They are being made in Tinsel Town as we speak! One in particular caught my eye this morning, first and foremost for its fabulous cast and then for its potential for being family-friendly without being a piece of crap. ABC has ordered 13 episodes of In the Motherhood, starring Chelsea Handler, Megan Mullally and Cheryl Hines as three moms and best girlfriends who (I hope) make great television and are able to blaze a new trail for family shows that are not According to Jim. Or it could go... another way.

The In the Motherhood premiere just made me sad, everybody. Why get some of the best comedic talent on television together just to make something so inoffensive and mediocre? It's such a waste of everything. Cheryl Hines, Jessica St. Clair, Megan Mullally, Ken Marino, Rachael Harris, skinny Horatio Sanz and Kenny Powers' best friend/the nudie cokehead from Reno 911! are all so good it almost made up for the largely flat jokes (to be fair, there were one or two jokes that did work, but the rest weren't even awful, they were just meh, which is almost worse) and contrived, unoriginal situations (getting caught having sex at work, getting caught faking a pregnancy, how to tell the kids -- spoiler alert, six-year-olds reading this! -- Santa's not real -- such groaners), but I don't think even they make it worth watching a second episode of this.

More good news for gays and the girls who love them! Number first: Ab Fab is getting its own Amurrrrricanized version, according to Variety. As per usual, I approach this tidbit with all appropriate trepidation, being that it seems unlikely that a remake could ever approach the raw, naked (tee!) genius of the original ... But I'm optimistic, partially because original creator Jennifer Saunders will oversee the project and it's being produced by my very own imaginary best friend Mitchell Hurwitz! Or perhaps I am still drunk from last night? I digress!

King of Queens alum Leah Remini is the latest actor trying to make it in the harsh world of daytime talk. The project is coming together now over at CBS and THR has heard rumblings that, while it may be a daytime show, it probably won't be "along the lines of a traditional talk show," whatever the hell that means. I guess we'll see, but the question of course is whether Remini is a Tyra Banks or if she's a Megan Mullally. Let's weigh the pros and cons, shall we?
