I'm attributing all of today's exciting stories to the horrible rainstorms we just had in New York City over the weekend... Seriously, the water washed in more news than ever. You hear that, Gleeks? Time to start thanking the precipitation gods!
After three seasons, The Millionaire Matchmaker has packed up and moved its services to Patti's homeland, NYC. Not that the good people of the Los Angeles credit card millionaire elite weren't hilarious fodder (of course they were), but East Coasters deserve a shot at embarrassing themselves too, and a change in scenery and clientele is exactly what the show needed for Season 4.
Considering how great Millionaire Matchmaker was this season, I was really looking forward to last night's reunion special. I mean, the very idea of an uncensored Patti and the enticement of catching up with this season's millionaires nearly had me DVRing Lost -- can you imagine? -- so I could watch it in real time. In the end, I didn't, and I'm definitely glad that I was instead able to speed through this snooze-fest.
Jennifer Love Hewitt as a Texan hooker and a film about the true story of high school girls making a pregnancy pact. It's a guilty-pleasure DVD kinda day...
