You know, nerd culture is totally mainstream now, so when you use the term "nerd" derogatorily, you're the one out of the Zeitgeist.

Looks like Law & Order: Criminal Intent has officially come to an end.

On this season of So You Think You Can Dance, a famous face has graced the judging panel for every live show. Overall, we were impressed by the quality of these mostly articulate celebs who seemed to be genuine fans of the franchise and who were able to actually spout opinions instead of just clap like seals. So we've ranked the special guests (though not the choreographers who were plucked to be on the panel, because we'd never be able to decide between Lil 'C and Travis Wall) to determine who was the best this summer.

Happy Star Wars Day everyone, may the fourth be with you! It's really too sad that not every holiday could be based around a terrible pun.

Cool Stuff We Need, Everything's Better With Music, Reading: It's Fundamental
Seven Things We Didn't Know About Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along BlogIt's been almost three years, but we still can't stop thinking about Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Joss Whedon's groundbreaking musical supervillain web series. Granted, that may be partially because Whedon's follow-up, Dollhouse, failed to set the world on fire, but Horrible was still unlike anything we'd seen before, and had great performances from Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day and Nathan Fillion in the lead roles. A book about the show, complete with scripts and sheet music, hit stores today, and we snagged ourselves a copy, only to find a plethora of factoids that delighted our Horribleness-craving eyes. They're not earth-shakers, like that the series was filmed in Esperanto and dubbed into English or anything, but they're fun and cute, just like the show itself. Read on, for seven of the most Hammertastic.

It's Friday! Before seeing Alice in Wonderland on opening night, check out today's TV news. At the very least, it'll give you something to think about while you wait in an hour-long line until the next showing. Going to the movies in New York is impossible.

Hollywood To TWoP: Hello There!
How I Met Your Mother: We Talk to the Show's Two Dads About Episode 100As big How I Met Your Mother fans, we're pretty excited about tonight's 100th episode, which not only features Tim Gunn (we're also big Runway fans), but also a musical number! We sat in on a conference call with show creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas to find out how the episode came about, what NPH abilities we don't know about and when we can expect to see the Broadway musical version of HIMYM.

What is art? Why do we dream? What is death? I dunno, what do I look like? Rainn Wilson?

Things have been so crazy lately, I don't even know what a "slow news day" is anymore. Sounds like an urban legend, if you ask me.

Hollywood To TWoP: Hello There!
Neil Patrick Harris: He Has a Weak Stomach and He's Hosting the TonysIt's Tony Awards weekend, and this year's host is the mother of all upgrades from last year's Whoopi Goldberg: Neil Patrick Harris! He has a perfect angel voice and he's everybody's favorite. Perfect. And while I didn't really love any of this year's shows, I'll still be watching because of NPH -- and the Liza performance we've been promised, of course. I'm even having the boys over for Skinny 'n Sweets (vodka, diet coke, and butterscotch schnapps, which is as disgusting as it sounds, but hey, 9 to 5) to celebrate, I'm so excited! Anyway, enough about me. Neil Patrick Harris did a li'l promotional conference call for the show, and us media types even snuck in some questions about HIMYM, Dr. Horrible and Harold & Kumar. Highlights below. Enjoy!
