Some sad news today for Kung Fu fans, but some great news for Hell's Kitchen fans and pervs, so it's not all bad.

Superheroes are back on NBC, and this time they're a lot more fun than those mopey Heroes types. The over-the-top characters -- masked vigilante The Cape, reptilian gangster Scales, the Carnival of Crime -- are just what the doctor ordered, and we're excited to watch a new show mythology take shape. As such, we jumped at the chance to talk one-on-one with former Terminator Summer Glau (who plays blogger and Cape-helper Orwell) and Tron Legacy's James Frain (who plays criminal mastermind Chess). Read on to find out about the little girl inside Orwell, Chess's one super power, and why Glau wants to join the circus.

Wow. Some of the best TV shows on the air today (and one that got canceled, but is still pretty dope) come out on DVD this week, and we would totally run out and buy all of them and watch them back-to-back-to-back, but we have waaaayyy too much TV to watch tonight. There's just no time! Maybe next summer...

Captain Janeway does her best to save a terrible new series, there's more fuel in the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles rumor fire, and Kara DioGuardi is still defending her title as The Worst.

Glad to be back to work from the long weekend? No? Well, today's news is filled with people coming back to television you can be happy about.

At first, the news that ABC would be remaking Charlie's Angels made me roll my eyes in annoyance at yet another remake, as I'm sure it caused most people to do, but after looking closer at the story, I kind of think it could be fun. Josh Friedman, former showrunner of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, is writing and executive producing this remake as well, and he's actually a very smart guy, and a good writer, despite Terminator's storytelling missteps. At the very least, he writes women well, and as long he doesn't fall into the traps of turning Charlie's Angels into a character melodrama, as Fox's Terminator budget cuts forced him to on that show, this could be the kick-ass, female-driven, addictive series that Dollhouse was supposed to be, if they're careful, and if they cast it right. I can't write the scripts for them, but I can tell you who has Angel potential and who is Olivia Wilde (for example). Here are our Charlie's Angels casting hopes and dreams.

As far as the happy to horrifying ratio goes with today's news roundup, we're like two to fourish, so don't read this if you're already depressed. I'm sorry.

Happy post-Valentine's/post-President's day start of the work week, everybody! Unless you're not in the States, or had some kind of evil boss who didn't let you take yesterday off, or if you're one of those rebels who defiantly refuses to celebrate holidays created by greeting card companies -- in which case little or none of the past two "holidays" means anything to you. I'm still drunk, is what I'm saying. The good news is, there is actually some news to report today! Read on for Dollhouse ratings, smashed-up cars, Michael Vartan's latest terrible career decision and more!

It was a tough day when we found out that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is on the verge of getting axed because not enough people are watching it. Quality-wise, there are way worse shows on TV that deserve to get cut first. We're celebrating the timely demise of Do Not Disturb (although it's still baffling how it got on the air in the first place), but here are some others that should hit the road... and fast.

Shirley Manson Takes on Terminators, Power SuitsSome exciting casting news for Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles -- Garbage lead singer and all-around fabulous Scotswoman Shirley Manson will be a regular next season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she'll play "Catherine Weaver, the CEO of a cutting-edge high-tech company." Ooh la la! Call me presumptuous, but methinks "cutting-edge high-tech company" probably translates to "evil cyborg factory" in the Sarah Connor universe, which is an exciting prospect. If that is the case, then might Manson be playing a sort of female Miles Dyson character? Miles Dyson with bright red hair, a Scottish accent and a Greatest Hits album? That's the sexiest thing I've heard all day.
