Bill Clinton turned down guest starring on 30 Rock. Hasn't he done enough to America?
It's safe to say that Syfy's Battlestar Galactica is one of the best television shows of all time, so it isn't a complete surprise that any role that a veteran of the show takes seems like a downgrade. Still, some of the cast members have fared better than others following the show's end. With one of the key players now starring on fall's much-hyped Hawaii Five-0, we were inspired to rank all of the major actors' post-BSG stints. Who is still flying high and whose career has turned into a pile of space detritus? See our list below, ranked from best to worst.
It's Labor Day weekend and we want to get our picnic on, so let's get 'er done!
More Glee? Awesome. Less Sarah Michelle Gellar? Terrible. More Elisabeth Moss? Awesome. Yet another Tricia Helfer guest spot? Awesome, but not really a surprise anymore. Oceanic Airlines on Desperate Housewives? Cutesy, but awesome. Awesome wins.
Tonight's episode of Burn Notice features a guest appearance by Terminator: Salvation star Moon Bloodgood as a police detective, and she's only the latest in a long string of spies, killers, cons and lawmen who have come through Miami with a bone to pick with Michael Westen. It's only going to get worse from here on out, what with Michael losing his protection and all, so we thought we'd run down some of our favorites, specifically those that we already knew and loved from other TV shows. This list will self-destruct.
Well, not exactly. But I was present for a round table of sorts with Battlestar Galactica's most famous cylon about her new gig on USA's Burn Notice. For starters, Helfer confirmed she will be in a whopping seven (possibly eight) out of 16 episodes this season, so tonight's season premiere is no mere guest appearance. And aside from knowing she's generally scary and bossy, she doesn't know a whole lot about her new character yet. "To be completely honest, I really don't know much of Carla's back story. I do know that she was a spy, and that she is now the public face of the organization that burns Michael. So she is definitely in a leadership position, and, at this point, pretty much ordering Michael around." Poor Michael. That guy just can't catch a break.
