After eight seasons, one failed movie and about 800 million fake MacGruber explosions, Will Forte is leaving SNL. It's reportedly his choice and the split is amicable, but still -- pretty sad. MacGruber's not my favorite thing in the world, but Forte is brilliant, and was always the best at coming up with truly great, bizarre end-of-show sketches. The show is going to be weird without him next season. To give him a little send-off, I've rounded up a few of his finest and most popular works currently available on Hulu as a sort of half-assed yet fun eulogy. Watch these at work and laugh so hard you annoy your officemate! Angel loved it when I did it!

Let's Go to the Video, Let's Review, Shall We?
SNL: Can Everybody Stop Trying to Take Blake Lively's Potato Chip?Saturday Night Live was very funny this weekend, and everyone seems rightly surprised about that, but they also seem very surprised that Blake Lively did a decent job, which seems unfair to me. Being a good SNL host is probably more about having a great, I'll-tackle-anything attitude than it is about having actual talent, and Blake Lively always seems like an energetic, relentlessly fun and likable girl when she doesn't have her Serena van der Woodsen Thanksgiving catsuit on, so I figured she'd do a good job. And she did, in what little screen time they (wisely) relegated her to. She may be a pretty blonde lady, but let's not January Jones her for it, OK? That is some kind of profiling and it is probably offensive! But I digress -- on to the best sketches of the night!

Hollywood To TWoP: Hello There!
Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte on Peyton Manning's Greatness, Contractual Obligations and How Much Money They Made Off Charles BarkleyIt's SNL seasonal clip show time! This time around, in honor of the timeliness of the Winter Olympics and the Super Bowl, NBC will be airing SNL Presents: Sports All-Stars this Sunday at 9 PM. Like the Gilly Christmas special, this one will be hosted by two divisive SNL characters, Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte's ESPN/Summer's Eve commentators Twinkle and Stink, and will feature what Lorne Michaels deems the best sketches in the show's sports-themed canon. How good he is at that is a whole 'nother matter, but what's important is that I jumped on a conference call with Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte to hear what the charming lads had to say about the special. And well, they're funny. Enjoy the highlights after the jump.

We don't want to break today's newsmakers into "employed," and "unemployed," but let's just say that not all of them know where their next meal is coming from.

I've got some good news for people who hate Brothers and Sisters!

All you crazed Arrested Development fans out there who have been waiting for just a little taste of something more and can't wait for the movie can whet your appetites on Sunday when the new animated comedy Sit Down, Shut Up premieres. It's a cartoon adaptation of an Australian live-action show, and is from the AD creator Mitch Hurwitz. It also features the vocal talents of Arrested alums Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Henry Winkler, as well as some SNL talents like Kenan Thompson and Will Forte. Hurwitz and Forte hopped on a conference call recently to ostensibly answer questions from the press, but mostly ended up talking to each other. The highlights of this chaotic call are below.
