We add insult to injuries in today's news.
'Tis the season for meeting TV dads, apparently.
I was going to put where she belongs, but maybe where I can tolerate her is more accurate. I just didn't buy her recent portrayal as a mean tabloid magazine editor, perhaps it is just my small mind not being able to see her as anything but Monica Gellar for the rest of her life, but Ted Danson sold the transition from chummy bartender Sam Malone to villainous CEO Arthur on Damages, so I'm thinking its got something to do with Courteney. Anyway, Cox is on a new comedy about a 40-year-old with a 17-year-old son who is newly single. It is unsurprisingly called Cougar Town.
I have to say, I am normally very impressed with the job the producers of Scrubs do with their guest stars. In fact, I would even go so far as to declare that their guest shots at Sacred Heart represented the best work I've ever seen from Heather Graham and Colin Farrell. But I always found the multi-episode arc featuring Tara Reid as Jordan's sister Danni was a rare misfire. Fortunately, it seems like she probably won't be back: according to series creator Bill Lawrence, Reid was his least favourite guest star. He's gentlemanly enough not to say that she sucked, or was a hot mess to work with; he is truthful enough to say that she reeked of booze and cigarettes. Which should come as a surprise to no one, given that she practically stinks in still photos, too. I mean...look at her. (Link via Defamer.)
