Recently, Daniel Franco, who already had two chances at Project Runway (two too many, if you ask us) got another shot at reality TV by appearing as the self-described lovechild of Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert on American Idol. Really, some people just don't know when to quit. However, he did inspire us to look back at the desperate, pathetic famewhores who make his two brief runs at reality TV look practically lazy by comparison.

Judging Strangers, Really Ridiculous Reality Shows
Reality Shows Starring Survivor Alums That We Want to SeeRob Mariano, best known as Boston Rob, is cashing in on his Survivor/Amazing Race fame with a new show that won't force him to share the spotlight with other dirty and starving people. He and some guy who made a monster truck (yes, really) are going to be doing a History Channel show called Around the World in 80 Ways. The duo will have to travel around the globe via various modes of transportation without ever using any of them more than once (we look forward to the dirigible). Between this and seeing Colby Donaldson happily handling weaponry on Top Shot, it made us think of what kinds of series we'd like to see from other Survivor alums, given their unique qualifications.

Annals Of Fantasy Stuntcasting, Annals Of Stuntcasting, Great Moments In Real TV
Reality Shows We'd Rather see Boston Rob and Russell on Than SurvivorDoes this season of Survivor feel familiar? Well, it may be because cast member Russell Hantz has already appeared in two of the last three seasons of the show, and "Boston Rob" Mariano is currently enjoying a record fourth season, having first appeared back in Season 4. And while we understand the show's desire to capitalize on their popularity (as well have some sort of continuity on a show that changes its cast every season), we're actually getting a little tired of their antics -- in this context, at least. Why not put these two on other reality shows, where they can put their skills and abilities to use achieving goals other than social gameplaying? We've got some suggestions for "R&R."
