Around The Rest Of The Media, Really Ridiculous Reality Shows, TWoP Goes Multimedia All Over Everybody's Ass
Must-Tweet TV: The Twitter Reality Shows We'd Actually WatchSo apparently, the news that Twitter has signed up with a production company to make a competitive television show is not true. In truth, Twitter has made agreements with a whole bunch of production companies, and not just one, and there are probably more shows in the works that they don't even know about yet. While the stalker-sounding "putting ordinary people on the trail of celebrities" format could be a winner, we came up with a few more Twitter-based game shows that we think would do gangbusters.

With the recent addition of Wipeout to the world of stupid shows where people make themselves look like idiots in order to earn some cash money, we've decided to take a look back at some of the really ridiculous shows that involve rewarding those with little or no talent with cash. While Wipeout just barely missed making the cut, there are some others that are horrifyingly bad and are contributing to the downfall of quality television just as much as an average episode of The Bachelorette. That's not to say that some of these aren't entertaining to watch, but that doesn't really make them intelligent TV.

So, something happened when my sister came to stay with us over the holidays. No, not that we stayed up until 2 AM watching BBC documentaries (which we did). No, not that we each ate our weight in Turtles (which we also did). On Christmas Eve, we were wrapping gifts, and since nothing else was on, she put on Deal Or No Deal, which I had never watched before.
When I saw she'd put it on, I was all, "Oh, LEAH. I can't believe you watch this show! Wouldn't you rather look for a nice documentary on DVD instead?"
Ten minutes later: "That's a pretty crappy deal from the banker. Geez."
Ten more minutes after that: "SEVENTEEN! PICK SEVENTEEN!!!!" -
Really Ridiculous Reality Shows, True Tales Of The TWoP Bullpen
Wall Flowers: The Stupidest Game Show Idea of All Time?So last month we were sort of excited about the prospect of the Human Tetris game show import. But then Saturday I saw them auditioning freaky people for this game show at the local Dave & Busters (I like their mini-burgers, please don't judge). Anyway, Hole in the Wall, the nice pretty American title, is exactly what it sounds like, but looks even stupider than you can possibly imagine.

Judging Strangers, Really Ridiculous Reality Shows, Very Bad Things
What's Grosser Than Gross? Hurl!Seriously, I thought there was no way Hurl! could be as disgusting as it seemed in its premise. I was proven wrong tonight. Very, very, very wrong. Even the little intro promos of a dog barfing are icky. Thankfully they somehow block people doing most of the actually vomiting (I'm insanely grateful for this fact) but that doesn't stop the sounds. The sounds are so much worse than I could have imagined.
