We're finally going to meet a certain mother on CBS!

Glee fans, rejoice: It looks like Trouty Mouth is coming back after all.
-
Lisa Edelstein is coming back to TV! And this time, it's on a show that's worthy of her.

If you like The Good Wife but wish the show focused all of its attention on sleazy Peter Florrick instead of splitting time with procedural cases and love triangles, or if you enjoy all of the corruption and cinematography of Boardwalk Empire but would prefer that you didn't have to deal with so many annoying characters, Boss might just be your dream show. And yes, I realize that I am recommending an intense drama on Starz, a network known for guilty pleasure original series that have copious amounts of blood and nudity (there's only one scantily clad sex scene in the pilot episode), or shows with a sci-fi bent. I also realize that I'm recommending a drama starring Kelsey Grammer. What can I say? Evil mayor is a mighty good look for him.

What do Liz Lemon and Gabby Solis have in common? (Hint: It's money. A lot of money.)

Hey, remember Love Bites? No? That's OK -- same thing happened to NBC for about a year.

Let's Review, Shall We?, Very Bad Things
Hank: Can We Just Pretend That This Show Never Existed? Thanks! Here's the thing, it's not that I am a Kelsey Grammer hater -- I watched way too many seasons of Frasier, he was certainly one of the better parts of Fame and I love me some Sideshow Bob. However, his shows lately have been terrible. From the dreadful Back to You, which wasn't funny and starred Patricia Heaton (two big strikes in my book) to his current offering Hank, I've got to wonder if he actually reads these scripts before signing on for these projects or if he just wants a paycheck and a producer credit.

Evangeline Lilly has said in the past that she doesn't plan on continuing her acting career after Lost ends, and with the show's final season premiering tonight (!!), that story has resurfaced, and she's sticking to it. Which is perfectly understandable; she's made her money, she's not passionate about acting, and she did the respectable thing by not quitting in the middle of it when she was somehow miserable in Hawaii. (I'm not a Kate fan, but at least she didn't Rob Lowe or Mandy Patinkin the show by throwing a tantrum and leaving prematurely.) So happy trails to Evangeline Lilly after May. These people should really get inspired and do the same.

Jillian Harris is writing a book. I have never wished for illiteracy so desperately in my entire life.

So this is a new thing we're trying out in the Telefile -- quick, newsy snippets from the TV world to keep us all informed and on the same page, with some brief commentary. Learning together! It's so great! Tell us if you love it or hate it in the comments, and please feel free to rip on the news itself as well. Lord knows I'm going to, because get a load of this crap...
