While Matt LeBlanc has Episodes, Lisa Kudrow has Web Therapy, Jennifer Aniston has all of the tabloids, Courteney Cox has Cougar Town and David Schwimmer has settled in behind the camera and is doing voiceover work, Matthew Perry hasn't had all that much luck finding a steady TV gig since Friends ended. He had the short-lived Mr. Sunshine and the talky nonsense that was Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. And while this new venture, Go On, does have its moments, it's unlikely that it will be the long-running hit he's hoping for. Much as Chandler was arguably one of the best characters on Friends, Perry is increasingly in danger of becoming a showkiller.

Lots of new series are getting started up, including a few that sound... interesting.

If you saw the commercials for this new ABC sitcom featuring a bunch of people you've liked in other shows, as well as random circus clowns and Smurfs, and thought that this might be a new Arrested Development or something, you were wrong. While Mr. Sunshine strives for absurdity, it falls well short of greatness, especially considering that we're treated to the bizarreness of a show like Community on a regular basis. Even Cougar Town, the show that normally sits in this timeslot, does randomness better. And while part of me wants to say that Cougar Town took a while to get into its current groove and so maybe the world should give Sunshine some time to find its legs, I find myself far less forgiving of its goofy tone and waste of a talented cast.

NBC won't let the Glee cast lip-synch their little hearts out on Thanksgiving. And that's the saddest sentence I've written in a while.

Hey, remember "The One Where a Bunch of People Were Spreading the Rumor That There Was Going to Be a Friends Movie"? Yeah, well, apparently there isn't actually going to be one. It was all a clever ruse. Stupid rumor mill!

Annals Of Fantasy Stuntcasting, Stars Making News, That's F&*!ed Up
Matthew Perry Set to See You Next TuesdayScrew you, dudes who canceled Studio 60! You can't keep the lovable Matthew Perry down! The former Chandler Bing has signed on to star in the developing series The End of Steve (I swear, when I read that title I assumed it was another 90210 spin-off about someone trying to kill Steve for some reason, which makes no sense and would be the worst show ever -- then I got scared. Don't worry, I was totally wrong) about a radio DJ in a dead-end job in Rochester, NY who wants out. Perry's character is also reportedly real big on swearing, and the show's creator promises that he will even drop the C-word in the very first episode. Oh, creator guy, do you promise?! I don't know guys, who do you think will pick this thing up? ABC Family? Yeah, probably ABC Family, you're right.
