Ahh, Office webisodes. I always forget you exist and then I randomly watch one and laugh until Angel throws a Ken Doll at me. Today's installment featured Kelly Kapoor and new, obliviously sweet receptionist making a music video for their girl group Subtle Sexuality's hit single. In the Dunder Mifflin office, of course, because who needs location and set dressings when you've got a vending machine and a Kevin? The song's called "Male Prima Donna," and yes, it is about Ryan. And you know what? It was meant to be intentionally bad, but it's better than most Lady Gaga songs, and she's richer than Dwight running a bed and breakfast in hell with Satan, so I say reach for the stars, Kelly! You'll be celibately dating a Jonas Brother in no time with an act like this!

With the holiday shopping season upon us, we fans of Things I've Bought That I Love -- the shopping blog maintained by Mindy "The Office" Kaling -- may have feared that Kaling would fall into strike panic and curtail her consumer updates. Fortunately, we needn't have worried.

The news that writers and producers will resume negotiations a week from today (because God forbid anyone have to reschedule Thanksgiving plans in the name of thousands of people's livelihoods) is certainly welcome, but the fight's not over yet. Mindy Kaling explains her initially conflicted feelings about striking -- and does a good job addressing the sort of "good lord, they're not coal miners, they should get over themselves" naysayers who I think don't really understand the nature of this fight. I'd always suspected Mindy Kaling was the tits. Her portrayal of awesome-town valley girl Kelly Kapoor on The Office is waaay up my alley and down my street, as the saying goes. Who could fail to see the genius of her exhortation, "Fashion show at lunch!"?? Only an idiot. My love for Kaling was deepened when I was introduced to her personal blog, Things I've Bought That I Love, which reveals her to be the best kind of girlie girl -- the kind who's unapologetic about liking pretty things but also funny and smart enough to justify her taste with explanations other than "yay, pink!" (Incidentally, I know you've been busy with your real job, Minders, but please update that shiz! For me?)
